Before I got married, we had to meet with the preacher several times and buy books at a great expense. Anyways, he said sex between a husband and wife was akin to praise and worship to God. I reckon he was right. I can see how God delights in us doing what he made us to do. I don't think waiting til marriage is a guarantee for success, but it might be a good start. Me and my wife waited and ten years later she is out the door. I can say this, I wouldn't want the idea, notion, or knowledge that my wife had been with another man before me floating around in my head. That could poison a marriage. That kind of poison probably kills some marriages. I don't know. I never felt like I missed out on anything by waiting. We even drank a can of soda together that my wife had been saving since she was 12 years old. The soda was from a church she went to and they were told not to drink it until they married. It was a difficult thing not to have sex before we got married, but it seemed like an accomplishment like climbing mt. Everest or going to the moon. Plus I think it makes the honeymoon alot more affordable. These people who have expensive and elaborate honeymoons so they don't get bored. They already done everything in the sack before the wedding. Me and my wife didn't have to go anywhere. We went to our new rental house that we never lived in before and didn't leave for two weeks. We never turned the tv on until 4 years later when we had our first child.
