Ah yes, the bombardment of Christmas. The yearly social programming to get you to spend money. Christmas decorations were out in full force on the shelves of the local Wal-Mart near the middle of last month. I haven't yet heard a Christmas song on the radio, but as soon as I do, I'll do like I do every year and just turn it off and go into media blackout until after the first of the year.
Grinch? Me? Yes. I don't like being told how to feel, what to care about, how to spend what few dollars I earn, and I certainly don't like hearing it over and over and over for months on end all for one silly day on the calendar.
