He who is without sin cast the first stone.
I dont think she should have aborted it. I dont see much of a excuse for her to have done it though I will be fair and say that as I havent been into a situation like that, nor was I there. The baby would have been cut out one way or another so to abort it instead of hold it and try to save it (like its done today where babes get put into incubators and stuff) .no just no
Plus how did they kill the child? Did it die more miserable than it would have had?

There is a case of a person who only had a brain stem, who got 12 Years old so uhm.. I dont see her decision as acceptable. If her life was so at risk that she had to, well ok, but I doubt it.

I am a woman, and I have had 4 children. So does that give me the right to comment on abortion? I hope so! My second pregnancy, I had just been accepted into the teacher training program. My pregnancy was not planned, so when I went to the doctor's because of some strange symptoms, and he told me I was pregnant, I may have shown some exasperation concerning my plans. The doctor immediately offered me an abortion, even though I was healthy and so was the baby. I went home and prayed about it, and the baby started kicking at three months.

I realized the the only thing that mattered was that this was a living person, and I did not have the right to kill it for my convenience! I ended up having a difficult time, including getting my appendix out when the baby was 4 1/2 months along. But despite the stitches, I did my first teaching practicum, and it went well. I had to take summer courses, and I only missed one class, when my son was born. He came to class with me, including a lass on teaching elementary music. I would have my newborn clap out rhythms, and he became a phenomenon musician when he was older. He and I are very close to this day, he is a wonderful father and husband, and about to make partner in one of the largest accounting firms in Canada.

If I had had him aborted, this world would be a much sorrier place without him, for me especially.

Then there were the twins in my 4th pregnancy. I lost one of them a little over three months. I needed a D and C, but it would have killed the other twin. So I chose to suffer it out, including finishing out a year teaching, my first in a new school district. By the 7th month, the pain was so bad, I had to use a wheel chair. Do I regret it? Never! She is my only girl. I got RA when she was 10, and she became my caregiver. I never asked her to dress me and help me, but she saw the need and helped. She is a social worker, helping abused children!

This late term abortion thing is all garbage. Because a baby at 9 months can be delivered by C section if it threatens the life of the mom, and both can be saved. There is never an excuse for partial birth abortions, where the child is part way out of the body, and a doctor reaches in and sticks a hole in the head of the baby, and sucks its brains out with a suction hose. Another minute, and the baby would have been born alive. Trump was right about this!

He's not the one who murdered his child.

This "pastor" on the other hand . . .
Didn't you say you worked in the medical field? It's sad that there are people like you who have no compassion for people working in the medical field

Wow Angela, you were a soldier. She hasn’t dealt with anything quite like that, but my wife is a “make it happen regardless” girl too, and I am so thankful for her every day. I like learning more about you and the things you had to get through in life, and just wanted to say I love you sister, and find you to be a good example here on CC. I look forward to your post, so thanks for sharing.

My compassion is for the murdered children. I sleep well at night knowing righteousness is on my side and God's grace is upon those murdered children.

What an age we live in, "what about the perpetrator?".

No one here hates this woman for what she did. They believe what she did is wrong.

You cry strawman, but then go and label everyone here as hateful. You are such a hypocrite, dude.

I won't go so far as to say this is the dumbest post of the year, but it certainly is worthy of a nomination for the dumbest post.

It's a valid point. You're quick to call her a murderer but she did what she felt she had to do. The baby was going to die anyway after excruciating pain and there was a risk that she could die as well.. I'm not going to fault her for wanting to spare her baby a few moments of excruciating pain. This will probably haunt him for the rest of her life... it's called empathy.. check into

Yeah. I never understood how ending a baby's life is "medical". Seems to be the OPPOSITE of medicine.

Werent we commanded to pick up our cross and follow Christ?

Are you really so against having faith that God will carry us through His will? Is it really so hard for you to accept that putting the choice into our own hands is not God's will?

And there are many children who are said wont survive being born, but end up surviving anyway. It is far better to take the chance with faith than to just kill the baby. You are so worried about being "accepted" by the world (which by the way you are commanded to not do) that you constantly hate on Christians and tell them they need to approve of what the world does.

Why are you so worried about "not being liked"? Who told you that you must be "approved" by the world? Have you not read the bible?

As I've already stated my problem with a lot of Christians if they seem to care more about being right and they care about people. It seems to be more about being hateful and judgmental then it is about love and kindness.

You can both care about people and what is right, they are not mutually exclusive.

You're free to speak against abortion or any other thing for that matter. I'm not going to demonize this woman for making a decision. She did what she felt like she had to do. Pray for her and move on

Where's your faith in Jesus Christ? Jesus is the great physician who teaches us that things will be done according to our faith. This so called pastor is supposed to set examples of faith, but alas, poor Horatio, I knew him well.

She embraced her radical liberal platform of infanticide boldly and courageously rather than seeking God's will and healing hands in like manner. She's no victim of circumstance, she's a pathetic excuse of Christian leadership.

This is why I think religion is the worst thing that ever happened to humanity. She's human. She was afraid. The doctors told her that her baby would die anyway it would suffer great pain. She wanted to spare her baby that pain and not risk her own life in the process. She's not teaching an agenda but merely explaining why she did what she did. The difference between me and you is I have empathy and you dont

Jesus was religious. He practiced all of the Jewish customs. And where is your empathy for the child whose chance at life was stolen?

Nope.
Jesus vehemently chastised the Pharisees for their religious mindsets. I wish Christians would realize that they're defeating their own cause by being so pompous and self-righteous
