Someone has offered to put me through medical school, pre-med and all. At my age. Hmmm Should I accept?

Gilligans Island was on. It's an old American TV show, Google it. I overheard my Son asking my Husband questions about it, who's Gillian? Why are they stuck there? What happened? Then I heard my Husband sing the theme song to him to try to explain, I couldn't help but laugh.
That was my favorite show! :D One time my mom tried to punish me by not letting me watch it and I cried and begged her nonstop until she finally gave in. :)

Doesn't really make sense considering your age but I guess anything is possible. If they are asking you to put up some kind of money or give your credit card or social security number or something like that then its got to be a scam.

My Dad fulfilled his lifelong dream of being a pastor while in his 50's. My Grandma, his mom, told him for years he couldn't do it because he was too old. I told him, "It's a good thing Grandma isn't God."

A woman at my old church got her nursing degree and started working in the field when she was around 70.

Moses led the people out of Egypt when he was 80. (Of course, he lived to be 120, but still.)

Age doesn't mean much to God.

If the funding is legit, I say, go for it!!!

It'll be an awesome opportunity to learn, and help people.

And God is all about that, at any age. :)

If they're paying for it and you actually like it (I personally hate anything science, except computers) then go for it. If it's worth all the risks too. Age really is just a number.

Your explanations for this strange phenomena make a little bit of sense, but it's not one of those static shocks... It's a buzzing kind of shock. If I left my hand on the door, it would keep buzzing, and eventually hurt.

Yes but someone is offering to put that person through medical school... sounds like a scam to me unless its someone in their family or something. I have nothing against somebody taking up a new carreer path at a late age. I remember seeing an 80 yr old woman get her bachelors degree on the news and I was proud of her.

That's different. I'd suspect a short in the wiring.

Is this with housemates or friends or family? Or randoms?
Family, I usually get take out with my mom once like every weekend. Its definitely true to say she pretty much picks what we get everytime, mostly cuz shes my mom I guess : p

Sometimes my best friend and I go out for food on the weekend too, but sadly we dont like the same foods at all, so it always ends up being burger king, which isnt really anything to look forward to : p

CLARIFICATION:
When I said it didn't make sense considering your age, I meant that it seems very suspicious for some company or some stranger to offer to pay for your med school at your age. I didn't mean that it didn't make sense to start med school at your age. (I see now why Kim got that impression...)

I wanna learn how to play this-

The good news is I already have the first few opening chords down. The bad news is that my hands are too small, and my bass to big, to reach some of the chords in the main chorus, meaning I have to cheat to play it : p
