Im not saying it's right for Christians to be hateful in the least but if someone were a true christian then they wouldn't base their beliefs on how others treat them but on their relationship with God. So maybe they weren't actually christians to begin with. Maybe they were like the ones in the parable of the sower who hear and believe with joy but when trials come they fall away. On the other hand God commands us to love one another saying tha people will know that we are his disciples of we love one another. Just a few thoughts I had.

Also so how is it self-righteous to say that abortion is wrong?
No it is not feel pressure to say abortion is wrong. However in this situation I feel like the lady did what she had to do. Calling her a terrible person and a fake Christian and so on and so forth is self righteous. Calling her church liberal trash and so forth

I debate with atheist frequently on Facebook and the number one reason I hear of atheists who are former Christians is that they feel that Christians are hateful. A lot of devout Christians or actually pushing people away with your self-righteous attitude. They are alienating the Harvest field
Dude, you are not "more loving" than the "average Christian". In fact, you only show acceptance for the very things God hates. I wish I could help you see why you should be against something like abortion, but I believe you will be too proud to listen to me, and continue putting yourself on a pedestal.

The woman killed her baby, and that is wrong. We do not "hate her", we believe that what she did is wrong and will not give into the pressure of the world to support her actions, as you have clearly decided to do. God tells us He knew us before we were in the womb. Well, this woman killed this creation of God before it even came out of the womb. It is wrong.

Please stop with your "accept the sins of the world or your hateful" rhetoric. It is in no way accurate or true.

John 15:19
If you were of the world, it would love you as its own. Instead, the world hates you, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.
Matthew 10-
34 “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 For I have come to turn
“‘a man against his father,
a daughter against her mother,
a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law—
36 a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’[c]

37 “Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39 Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.
Proverbs 29:27An unjust man is abominable to the righteous, And he who is upright in the way is abominable to the wicked.

Yet it was her aim to take this one situation where one could possibly justify abortion and use it to make abortion seem like a good thing for all woman to practice. Also something I can't wrap my head around is the fact that she says she has no regrets if it were me I know would have second thoughts and wonder if I had made the right decision or not.

lots of people get their feelings hurt and then shift blame. If a supposed former Christian who is now an atheist ran because of something external then they simply want to change their circumstance but are unwilling to change themselves. Wanting to change the world but not yourself is a hollow empty devoid of integrity mindset. Unfortunately people want to be loved but are unwilling to be the change they want to see. Your post about atheists only prove that man is a fickle selfish little creature who refuses to grow up and replace unholy thinking with holy thinking.
"I used to be Christian but one day another Christian called me a poopy head so now I no longer believe in God."

Yeah, we hear that all the time, for sure. Gimme a break.

There is not such thing as an atheist who was a Christian.

There are atheist who posed as Christians but never received the truth. The first person they lie to is themselves. They are described as tares among the wheat. Those who are mature in the faith can detect them by the just not quite right things they promote. Imperfections in the fruit they claim as theirs. This creates a certain sense of lacking trustworthiness that mature Christians detect in them.

Yeah, who would have thought that following Christ would mean having to be against doing wrong? : p

Thumping her chest and attacking Trump was her aim.

"Blessed are the poor in spirit."

Guess those so called used-to-be-Christians-now-atheists never read the Beatitudes, or the parable of The Sower for that matter.

She's allowed to talk against Trump. We still have free speech in this country. Maybe you should try Saudi Arabia. They hate gays, women's rights and free speech..you'd fit right in

So says a supporter of infanticide. Yeah, you have credibility.

There goes Scarecrow with his straw man verbiage again.
Yep... because I never said I support infanticide. I said in this particular situation when the baby was going to die anyway and the mother's life was at risk then she did what she had to do. Fortunately these situations are extremely rare. You're flailing again

Imagine explaining that to the children. Well you should have had another sibling but.....never gave the child a chance and denied God His glory.
