We all have an accent regardless of where we live. Some accents are just a bit more pronounced. I think the southern drawl is very nice. I've enjoyed listening to people talk when I've visited NC or KY.
I can't remember who it was, but someone at CC got really upset with me once when I said I liked their accent, they claimed they didn't have one. *sigh*

Generally dating siyes are a waste of time. Try going to a Christian singles meeting at one of you local churches.

I've never been at a church that did such thing. Most churches are more concerned with families. There is a single's ministry at one church, but it's not a dating ministry. It's more of a bible study for those who aren't married, both for young adults and people 30 and up. Saturday nights after service, those in the single's ministry do something, whether it's a movie or game night at the church, or out to a restaurant, or an activity like mini golf or karaoke. That's the closest thing I've came to a single's meeting. I agree and disagree with dating sites, though. Disagree in that folks have met and married (my ex's folks met on a Christian dating site). Agree in that I cannot fathom God telling Christians "You know, for only 29.99 a month I have the perfect match for you). If folks really want to spend 30 bucks or more (or however much) on a dating site, it's their call. I don't know how God works like that, but maybe He can answer that in Heaven.

U are correct. But going to church events is a way to meet people. Never know someone may know someone who is looking....

Not at all actually : p Ive posted a few times in this section that women like Marilyn Monroe are not the kind of person Id be interested in : p
It wasn't about the person, but the looks... as per topic :D

For instance, if you were presented with two women of equal personality strength and attraction, and one was more physically appealing to you while the other was decrepit and broken down in some way, which would you prefer? Some would go for the less attractive person thinking they might be safer with someone who was not going to be pursued by others who are attracted to the better looks, lessening the sense of needing to compete, perhaps to maintain the other's interests and affections, for instance.

As it is not really biblical about looks but I do think 1 Corinthians 7:1-5 I don't think it would be wise to get with someone your not attracted to at all it will just give the devil power to tempt you later he will use anything he knows what would be appealing to us and can throw that temptation right as the right time. Not saying it is a must but think it is important.
