I think the problem is denominations and interpretations. Also pride has a big influence and the unteachable spirits we have. I have seen very little times people admit if they are wrong. It is as if we are so stubborn that we just keep on going in the same direction.

We claim the baseball 'world' series because we allow one team from Canada. Big whoop. But you are right, it is arrogant to claim world sports championships when the games never left our shores

Sadly the days of Band of Brothers is long gone. You want to see just how divided the US is now, wait until January 20th when DT takes office. I guarantee there will be rioting in the streets far greater than the ones we just saw with his election. this country has been headed for civil war for many many years, and it would seem it will soon be upon us.

It was called the World Series long before Toronto and Montreal joined and was just US teams. The Montreal Expo's are now the Washington Nationals.

Have you ever watched pro wrestling? I think that's like the greatest thing of all in American sports
(its not really a sport though : p)
And when I think of American foods, I picture like McDonalds and Burger King and like Twinkees and Doritos and Coke-a-Cola and junk like that, haha.
I wonder also how other countries see us. I am not against America but in all honesty we have fallen far and may not be able to get back up.
I am guilty of this as well but think of this if you will, we Americans in America have grown up for the most part with more than we need so much so we greatly confuse our needs with our wants, we complain about not having food in the house when it's stocked full of food we say how life would be so much better if we had more money in our pockets and we freak out if we don't have internet for like an hour or if we don't get our mocha latte we call ourselves poor when we have a house with electricity air conditioning internet clean food and water a good warm bed ect.
I am just as guilty as anyone of all this but it sickens me inside that this is how we are and I want to change that even Paul learned how to be happy with having nothing not even a bed to sleep on.
not only that but america is the most known country for all kinds of wickedness we are the leading producers of porn we average a little more than 60% of pornography in the world and in all honesty babylon describes America to the T.
However in light of all this I haven't given up on America or Americans I am grateful to live here and because of all we have been given something I ask God very strongly is to mold my heart to not take a single thing for granted

Well in Germany Americans generally dont have a good name.. not even to say that we just had a threat again Yesterday that is still in the air.

Oh I forgot, I was brought up watching little house on the Prairie, The Waltons,
Dallas, Man from Atlantas, Chips. So thought everyone was rich, wore stetsons,
rode horses, carried guns, wore Easter bonnets and went deep sea diving.

That's how I live my life.
Having lived in Germany for almost 8 years, I can honestly say this description best fits the average German one meets in the local Guest Houses...........

Soldiers and overpaid?? yeah right lol they aint got any idea. yeah the oversexed is another thing. Here they are always like '' AMI GO HOME! STAY OFF OF OUR WOMAN!" and stuff like that lol
I can't really answer this question, because I've lived and worked in America three times and will be going back there next year too. The people I met were fantastic and I loved every second of it. One of the nicest guys I met was on a shuttle train in Dallas- Ft Worth airport. He told me about his experiences in Australia and how positive they'd been. How he'd hope to give the same Jesus like attitude to Australian visitors when they were on his soil. He helped me with all these directions, names and places and was very accommodating. I've only ever had positive experiences so nothing but awesome memories for me.
