That sounds like sinusitis (inflammation of sinuses). It feels like the flu but it only happens in the morning or at night or when you are physically tired. It can include fever and facial pain. If that's what it is, its basically a form of a cold and usually takes a couple weeks to completely go away. Get plenty of rest and take zinc tablets.
that's strange! I've never had sinusitis before, so this is the first time. My face feels heavy, like it is clogged up. Also, I feel like I'm running a temperature and I have a dry cough from time to time.

That sounds exactly like sinusitis. I had it two years ago. Its basically a sinus infection. I felt feverish too but when I took my temp it was normal, but my face hurt and felt hot like I had a fever. Also, pain killers helped but didn't completely take away the pain.

Hope you feel better, Roh. I found that the one thing that helped the most was lots of rest and sleep.

ZT might be right. If it's sinusitis your face will hurt. Your cheeks and nose and forehead could possibly have pain especially if you press on them.

Must be the season for sinus infection. I felt ill this morning, as though I had eaten a lot of dairy, but I haven't touched any cheese or egg nog yet today. I feel much better now, but my sinuses are still a bit torn up.

I no longer work Thursdays at my full time job (now a little less than that...duh!) because of expanded duties (and income) with job #2. I should go there and take care of a few things, but I have really enjoyed playing on facebook and watching nexflix shows with my cat this morning.

It is now a little after noon.

Off I go! Time to be productive!!

no, really....

Sinusitis sucks

If you do go for painkillers, make sure you choose the kind that relieves swelling, (ie ibuprofen), as it is more efficient than ie paracetamol.

Awww Lynx...I hope you feel completely better soon. There seems to be a lot of sickness going around.

I just got my yearly review for work. I was given a 5% raise. Praise God for that blessing. I'm so thankful...so very thankful.

That being said...I should probably get off of CC and do some work. Lol

What does it mean when long lasting emotional pain turns into physical pain?

This is true! (and paracetamol is better known as acetaminophen/Tylenol here in the US)

And that is the only type of painkiller here that doesn't reduce swelling (that you can buy without a prescription).

i shared a facebook memory today. it's a video of group of us at a friend's apartment singing old school spanish church songs. it was lots of fun. good times. the original video has my friends tagged.
I love the way you termed them as "old school" Spanish church songs. Was this one of them?

Alabare alabare alabare alabare
alabare a mi señor
Alabare alabare alabare alabare
alabare a mi señor

Juan vio el numero de los redimientos
y todos alababan al señor
unos cantaban otros oraban
y todos alababan al senor

It was the first Spanish church song that came to mind.

It means that you didn't properly emotionally process traumatic experiences. Many persons who suffer from PTSD end up with physical manifestations.

It means my dear foodie friend...that it's time to deal with your emotional pain and hand it over to God.

So, my friend and I are planning to visit a dog cafe (petting cafe) on Christmas day, because we're both not doing anything and she has, like, 7 dogs and miss them terribly.
