So far my only objections are his cabinet picks and sticking to the Dakota Indians. And him taking credit for things that were already in the works. Otherwise so far so good.
Several years after he moved in, the electric company cleared their land. He found out the previous owners had rented some of that land to keep the trees. It was in his deed. Time ran out. No deal was never renegotiated. They took down their trees. He was furious.
Should he have been? It wasn't his land after all? And the reason they took down the trees was they were a fire hazard with all those massive wires going overhead. They were protecting the area, as well as CYA.
In like kind, that land that will be used for the pipeline doesn't belong to the Dakotas either. It's on the other side of a big lake! They had eight years to buy that land, if they didn't want it running next to their land.
