So far my only objections are his cabinet picks and sticking to the Dakota Indians. And him taking credit for things that were already in the works. Otherwise so far so good.
My dad had a house with five acres next to power lines. It was the oddest shaped lad, so each corner had a post sticking out of the ground with bright red on top so he could see the boundary lines. On the side with the power lines there was a line of trees followed by an overground field under the power lines. Cool thing was inside that field was a large patch of blackberry bushes. He picked all the blackberries. It also was a favorite spot for deer.

Several years after he moved in, the electric company cleared their land. He found out the previous owners had rented some of that land to keep the trees. It was in his deed. Time ran out. No deal was never renegotiated. They took down their trees. He was furious.

Should he have been? It wasn't his land after all? And the reason they took down the trees was they were a fire hazard with all those massive wires going overhead. They were protecting the area, as well as CYA.

In like kind, that land that will be used for the pipeline doesn't belong to the Dakotas either. It's on the other side of a big lake! They had eight years to buy that land, if they didn't want it running next to their land.

I think he should make a public statement, apologizing for the inconvenience for those who were effected by the 90 day moratorium, while at the same time reinforcing WHY it was done, and why it was done the way it was.... he could also reiterate that they are working as swiftly as possible to get those who are properly vetted back where they should be.

But, at the same time, people need to know that as a 7 or 8 year GUEST of our country on a green card, you are not entitled to the same benefits as our CITIZENS are. You are a GUEST here, at the pleasure of our nation.
A friend of mine is Lebanese. He and his family were forced out of Lebanon because they were Christians. They immigrated to America. He decided to become American. It takes 6-7 years (forget which one right now ) of living and working in America before you can actually get your citizenship. He was a kid when he came over, so had to live on his parent's immigration status, until he grew up and could work. He actually had to pay taxes for those 6-7 years without representation. (So much for that promise of not doing that to people. I always thought if you paid taxes, you could vote.)

Oh, and I knew him when he was an elder in our church. Two elders in that church, but the church was so small, we had to rent teachers for the sermons on Sunday. So just he and one other guy kept that church going for a number of years.

Big day when he became American. Don't underestimate how hard it is to become an American citizen. The test itself is one that most Americans would fail.

I give Trump an A for his work done at home, but I have to give him an F- for his international/foreign policy decision (granted only one raid but it was a failure) thus far.

Two week performance grade. Not how will he be.

I also think people are still in their honeymoon phase with a new job. They try to put their best foot forward to impress people. Reality is what can be maintained. That can't be graded until January 2019.
Two weeks is too soon for me to make any judgments. POTUS is a job, and I'll extend to Mr. Trump the same courtesy that was extended to me in the jobs I held back when I used to work - 90 to 180 days was the norm for the first performance review and then yearly on the anniversary of my initial hire.

You guys are walking into the lions den.

Trump banned people from 7 countries he has no financial interestes in.
The last x terrorist attacks come from countries like Saudi which he banned
no one from.

This is a blunt instrument to get attention, but do very little, and make it
look like he is against people for their nationality and not idiology.

Islam is a problem because of corruption and justifying it through dogma,
not dogma itself.

But then maybe this is just a bit too sophisticated for you folk.
If you polarise your country, it will divide within, and fall because of
it, not become "great" which is a worldly ideal anyway.

The 7 nations were selected long before trump ever thought of being president.

I wish he would just ban all muslims. islam's goal is to destroy the west. I'd like to have a constitutional amendment to rid the United States of islam.

You can have them all you want in the UK.

The problem with Islam is the doctrine that makes up Islam. The actions taken by those who hurt others are done through the commandments of Muhammad. Islam is the teachings of Muhammad, and it is not based on anything but Muhammad.

If he does build a wall and the United States pays for It,I would still think thats a good Job that president Trump did,I wonder If everyone feels about It the same as I do or are they still expecting mexico to pay for It.

If he can keep the cost down, that would be worth an A.

The cost of illegals flowing over (or under) the boarder in terms of social benefits, jobs, lost taxes, crime, etc way exceeds the cost to secure the boarder ($15B). $24B is wired from the US by Mexicans back to Mexico each year from income derived in this country, much of which is earned under the table and thus not taxed. We could impose a slight 2-3% surcharge on these wire transactions and it would pay for the wall in 20 years. Why should the banks be the only ones making money on these wire transactions?

I have nothing against Mexicans, in fact I'm married to a third generation Mexican who is a US citizen and whose grandfather came here legally.

Trump has managed to cause chaos, annoy everyone and achieve very little.

He is speaking alone to his core voters, the angry.

He took an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States and to protect us from all enemies, foreign and domestic. No foreign citizen has the right to come to this country. It is a privilege, just like when I go to another country I consider it a privilege and agree to respect their laws, customs, and people. Trump is trying to keep those out who wish us harm for 90 days while we figure out how to prevent bad people from coming in and terrorizing us. There is nothing wrong with that.

Of the 7 countries currently being temporarily banded from traveling here, 6 of them don't have a central government capable of providing criminal or other records of their citizens coming here and the 7th, Iran, would lie about it. I find it interesting that these 7 countries are the same ones identified by Ezekiel in Chapter 38-39 which, along with Gog, rise up against Israel.

I'll be honest, I'm more worried by the ALT LEFT, whacked out Marxist Liberals in this country who hate this country and want to turn us into a socialist-European style country. They are the real haters who riot in the streets, shut down anyone who disagrees with them, hates Christians and Jews, burns our flag, and spit on our Constitutionally protected liberties, etc. When they don't get their way and lose an election, rather than accepting it, they invent fake news and try to de-legitimize it rather than realizing people didn't want the most crooked and corrupt politician ever to seek the White House. These extreme leftist liberals are the haters, they are the angry voices on the news every night. They are the poor sport cry-babies losers. They lost the election and they need to get over it. We Christian Conservatives had to sit by quietly for 8 years and watched Obama take America down a path of weakness and moral decline. Nobody saw us take to the streets when Obama pushed his socialist, corrupt and evil agenda based on Satanic wickedness. Since when is tolerance of sin a virtue?

A country which does not protect its boarders is not a country. Daniel teaches that Clay and Iron don't mix. Islam and Sharia Law do not mix with Christianity and the US Constitution. The two can never coexist and trying to force it will only bring lack of harmony, death and destruction.

If they agree to follow our laws and not try to impose their laws upon us and if they mean us no harm, I for one am fine with them being here. They should be able to practice their false religion and worship their false god and prophet in peace and harmony and without fear of oppression. The one true God of heaven, our father and Lord will deal with this idolatry in His own time.

Sadly, their countries of origin don't allow minority religions the same courtesy of worship as we do.

When it comes to immigration, the only thing that the Democratic party is interested in is the number of voters that they gain by the free flow of immigrants.

What's it feel like to be the only person who understands everything about everything? And how hard is it to live with such inferior simpletons all around you?

I just hope building a wall gives true security to us and Is not just for appearances sake.

20 years sounds like a long time and while the US Is coming up with the funds, priorities of where the funds that are brought In from the monies can change and start going to other programs other than going only to building the wall.
Hmm(twenty years.)

:)So I take It by your response that the recent executive order was unfair to those that were already vetted.
