John 14:12
12Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I am doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 1
So in a nut shell believers can do even greater thingsd than the lord did....

In house group last night I realised something that we often miss. It is easy to say of ministry,
they should have said this or done that, I could do much better.
In reality ministry can only be measured by its impact on the audience, because that is why it
is there. And it is about getting alongside people, putting ones arms around them, and helping
them grow and get stronger in the Lord.
When we first came to our church, I had a suicidal depressed wife, a new job, a house to do
up and few friends. It was a hot cooker. Over the years my wife has grown, the kids blossomed
and the Lord blessed, and I have learnt to not seek to be fed but to see what I can offer others,
because there are so many gifted beautiful people who just need a nudge, a kind word, some
encouragement, and they will take that step faith, and see the Lord move.
But we have to be weak to help the weak, we have to be needy to help the needy, we need to
know pain and sorrow so we can help people go through the depths and come out the other side.
So the people who want desperately to speak and share often are the last people who should.
Ironic, because sharing is about this being there and going through it.
So you are probably one of the best to help and minister to others, God bless you.

To me faith is enough and if it is true faith then a faithful work will develop and grow.
There is a difference between knowing the path and walking it (From the Matrix)
In my own life as a believer in Jesus who wants to walk the path my faith has 2 dynamics.
The first is this and its first for me for a reason.
Luke 10:27
So he answered and said, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’ ”
Matthew 5:43-44
Love Your Enemies
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,
Galatians 5:14
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
The second is this and it will come across as selfish but to me it's not.
Why would God work in me if I am unwilling walk in the ways above.
The other part of my faith is to believe that God wants to deal with me as a person as his child.
Heal my pains of the past, the hurt I still carry around, anything that detracts from me truly believing this screw up is his precious child whom he loves so much.
I search my heart every day but ask God to make me search deeper, reveal to me the barriers that need broken down, the faulty foundations that need digging up and replaced.
So in a sense behaviour does matter.
It matters as to how we behave before God.
It matters as to how we behave with others.
It matters as to how we believe God behaves with us.
Just having read the above and saying the first is this and the second is this, I think actually the combine.

Did Jesus ever say to people, "shut up"? I think not. 
For me though he does say it but not with those words.
Goodness knows how many times God has said to me when he is trying to talk me when I'm not listening, something like this/
"Bill just quiet your mind, lets talk, now what part of what I am trying to talk to you about do you not get? Let's talk it out, you wanna talk.
How can I say no? I can't
