Ive been studying the word of God a REALLY LONG TIME. (longer than your age)
And you still don't understand it? WOW. Nothing for you to brag about, Frankie.

You'll have to figure it out on your own since I haven't studied theology long enough.
Still contradicting yourself, I see.

I've endured many INSULTS here.
LOL. You sure like to dish 'em.

How dumb do you think I am, anyway??
You would not like the answers you get about the level of your ignorance,
Frankie, much of it willful. You are like a dog that returns to its vomit.

Posting links doesn't show you have read or understood what was being said.

You don't even get what folks here say, even after pages of them telling you. You just skip over whole phrases of others words to show how much wiser you think yourself to be.
I think you are finally catching on...

Oh lighten up.
There's no fun around here...
Lying to people and being abusive and then saying there's no fun here,
hmmm. Your ignorance and hypocrisy are showing again, Frankie.

The work is finished when you recieve your salvation certificate written in the the book of like when your final chapter is finished..

To me life means life.. and this is why its called the book of life... because are lifetime events are written in there..

So when your final chapter is complete you recieve your approval and not until its over..

when the trumpets will blow and the lady will sing. And old aquaintances will be renewed...
And yet Scriptures say that heaven rejoices when? (Hint: Luke 15:7)

See the 3rd group has folks speaking for it....going to pray. Maybe by then God will send reinforcements.

Would you recommend this video Mcgee?

His other one was alright but I hope he has a church to fellowship with. Otherwise a lot of the scriptures about being one with the Body of Christ gets lost.

Who can know what the difference is EG?
Do YOU know what the difference is?

Does God agree with YOU?

Not like YOU have to agree with GOD.

Yeah. Get one little thing wrong, and one is going straight to hell in a handbasket.
That means WE'RE ALL GOING.

See you there.
Oh. You say you won't be there?
How could you be so sure?

I haven't seen much fruit of the Spirit here. Are you sure you have some of that there fruit?

Legalism is legalism. I am sure God thinks the same.

The jews tried to add works of the law, and obedience to salvation.

The church tries to add sacraments and obedience to salvation.

Like I said, what is the difference?

Fruit? Your not going to find fruit in a chatroom.. You find that out in the world..

Justification is free.
Sanctification is not free.

Of course, since we cannot have a real discussion here. HOW could we ever discuss the difference?
Justification was expensive, It Cost God a whole lot..

We have been trying to discuss the difference.. But people can not seem to get over the fact that they are not the same.. that's why we can not discuss..

In a previous post, in response to the picture of Jesus that MMD posted, Peter said that he and others who he knows, would never be linked to a bleeding Christ. His statement makes no sense to me, so I'm trying to get him to clarify it, but as usual he just sidesteps the question. :/

I would love to "gain ground" in reading my bible.. IF I can ever get my mind focused on it for more than two minutes..
That sounds solvable doesn't it? :)..

With practical intentional planning and prayer and standing against anything suppressing your will to place your thoughts towards His Word it will come to be, I believe it. The intentional planning is up to you, even though I could even help there if you ever wanted me to. Just pm me and I would love to help in the practical side too of this goal. But before I forget let me also pray right now:

"Dear heavenly Father, I want to thank Blue for being honest and in answering one of two of my questions...(Smile). I have seen her grow over time in loving you more and more, and I pray she can receive the fullness of You in being able to focus on Your Word. Father, help her calm down and rest in you, we pray in Your authority banning satan from her mind to influence distractions and mis-representations of Your wisdom. Father help her pray thru the spirit and give her a bounty of revelations that keeps her enthused for years to return to Your wonderful active and alive Word. Father I pray that as she reads is it will separate soul from spirit and will give her a chance to know you more, and thus love you more. I know she loves You now dearly, and I pray this would continue as she ups the ante in the investment of eternal things over temporal. I pray this in Your Precious Name, AMEN!"

So, just one more thing, what about the first question I asked you about how you say "a bleeding Christ," over, "a life wrought out thru the blood of Christ living in the resurrected life." ?

How about what Jesus said?
"All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away."
You see, if you belong to Jesus, you will come to him, not walk away from him.
New International Version
All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.

New Living Translation
However, those the Father has given me will come to me, and I will never reject them.

English Standard Version
All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.

New American Standard Bible
"All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out.

God promised He'd never make us leave, but gave us the choice to leave/rebel/apostatize.

Could you , like, tell me which Church teaches justification by works?
I don't know of any.

I MIGHT be wrong --- one never knows, does one??
You don't know of any?

If they teach salvation can be lost. they teach justification by works, If justification is by grace, then since it can never be earned, it can never be lost. thus salvation (justification) can never be lost.

The roman church (both sects) teach extreme justification by works (right up there with the jews they are) and then many who broke of from them teach a smaller version of their justification by works theology (they do not hold to all the sacraments)

since you went to a roman church for a bit, I am surprised you did not know this.

MY my EG.
Looks like we're getting somewhere.

Except these questions have all been answered by some here.
So you HAVE NOT been reading along?

OK. So I'll answer them ONCE AGAIN.

1. Do you NOT NOW that glorification comes about only after Death? Is this a kindergarten class for new Christans???
Yes, Because many seem to think that is not true, they hold that we can be glorified on earth. ad preach it daily.. You must not read many threads.

2. I've answered this just a few posts ago. OK. You can't keep up. So here: I believe it is not possible in this lifetime, although I do NOT exclude the possibiliy that it is possible in some cases. EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE, as they say.
So it is not possible, but it is possible.. Which is it?

3. What do YOU think happens to a person who does not reach this state if I just said that 99% won't?
I've done nohthing but speak to this.

Give me what you think I've said. It's of no use to repeat the same thing over and over.
So you believe that sanctification has no bearing on ones eternal life? That is news to me, have I misunderstood you all this time?

ARE YOU PERFECT?
No Never claimed to be
Is that what is needed to get to heaven?
Apart from Grace, Yes, thats is Gods standard. Reject the cross, and this is where you will stand on judgment day,, ps.. NO ONE WILL MAKE IT. (Only Christ fulfilled this requirement)
Is not, why not? Your answer will be interesting, and probably correct.
Because God is a just God, and he demands perfect standing, which all have sinned, are sinning and will sin, so no one can make it, So he had a plan. His son and the cross was that plan.. His love can win out, because his justice can be satisfied by his sons death (also called expiation, atonement and redemption)

Never mind, Ariel..

Maybe his misspoke and doesn't want to admit that he could have expressed himself differently yesterday?

By his response today it is obvious that he does feel linked to a bleeding Jesus.

So I don't know what you want him to say, Blue.

Not that it matters anymore, because I'm weary of trying to get a straight answer out of him, but a "life wrought throughout the blood" to ME anyway, isn't quite the same as saying we aren't linked to a bleeding Christ. Bleeding or not, we ARE linked to him. :)

NO NO NO.

Why are we sinless in God's eyes?
What happens that makes us seem sinless in HIs eyes.

Come on. It's an easy concept...

if it is so easy, why do you not see it?

Look to the day of atonement, Look inside the ark, the ten commands (no one can fulfill/all have sinned) Arrons rod that budded (rebellion against God) and the loaf of manna (represent rejecting Gods provision)

The day of atonement, the lamb was sacrificed. And the blood was splattered over the window which looked into the ark. All things God had against mankind were seen, and it is all he needed to execute judgment. covering it so God could not see inside, A he could see was the lambs blood. the sin was covered. the guilty were forgiven. redemption had been purchased, and atonement had been made.

That is what Christ did on the cross. When he looks at us, He sees his son, not the things which condemn us.. As paul said, he took those things out of the way and nailed them to the cross (col 2)

so tell me, what did the average jew do to recieve this atonement? What work did he perform?

It's all about having faith. the thing is ,it is hard to determine if a person have faith to go along with their works. some are doing good works for profit, glory, and recognition. the works are the same for a person with or without faith. with works and no faith, you can please man, but you cannot please God. With faith comes obedience to his word, being humble before God with pure love and compassion, without hypocrisy.

Not mine...I wouldn't send folks to this guy.
He seems too "word of Faith" to me, which contains too many false doctrines.

Also the video gives too much power to demons and hardly any power or responsibility to humans.

I don't believe in the demon of cancer.

All physical illness is not demonic, but that would be a discussion on another thread.

I just like to know what/who others are listening to and learning from.

MMD was suggesting that those who say in knowing the cross we walk in obedience
this is trying to earn salvation.

Cheap grace is a phrase where you take the verbal words of christian and ethics but
do not live them out and put no emphasis on what accepting Christ is in the soul.

So MMD phrase was saying we must fulfill our love of Christ is cheap grace, because it
creates a kind of earning salvation denying Christ alone has done enough to save.

Now this is actually a lot of ideas and labels thrown around and gets rather confusing.

So I am not disowning Christ, it was just one meaning in the context of our conversation
that MMD was making. They are the two camp ideas, which sometimes are not helpful,
when taken to extreems.

And I am not miss speaking or denying something. I have not changed my position, or how
I feel. God bless you.

It is why it is best not to get too involved in these arguments that are probably too involved
for their own good, lol.

I must confess, I am still very unclear on what you are saying here, but suffice it to say, I'll keep listening over time, so don't worry about it, explain it another day. May God bless us, His body, in whole and continue to help us see one another in the light of His face.May God Richly Bless you today Blue....THX for trying to answer that for me.

That's good. I listen to lots of folks too and I believe if we pray and compare what they teach to scripture. Then God will lead us to His truth.

You really don't know me at all and only God truly knows my heart. As usual, you don't really know what you're talking about, but you just could not resist the opportunity.
I can truly say I don't know you..... sockpuppets are the hardest to figure out when they hold to character.

Kinda hard to know somebody when they don't exist.

He didn't say that.

You just assumed he was attacking you. (mainly because of Fran response I suspect)

All he said is that God's grace is free. Jesus died on the cross and no amount of religious work will earn you what He did for you upon that cross.
