So, one thing that I struggle with all the time is interaction with people. I think this is compounded by the fact I haven't really associated with anyone I don't already know (or people who work at stores) in like the past 6 months. Which is hilarious, since my job before that was being a sort of announcer/educator for Butterfly Wonderland.

Yet when it comes to sharing the gospel, I am...just.....the worst. Unfortunately I think the biggest thing is that part of me doesn't want to. Not that I don't want people to be with Jesus, not that I don't want them to be saved! I do!! I really do! Just.....I am scared of people. And I don't want to be.

I know that there are huge ramifications of fearing people more than God. It's wrong. And it can cause me to fall big time. It's like.....I feel if someone was like "ARE YOU A CHRISITIAN!?!" I answer "yes of course" and then state my faith and all that. But me doing it by myself? I suck at it.

I think another big part is that I always pray that God will help save a person or that God will help my friends, but when it comes to me witnessing I think it has to be "GOD DID THIS FOR ME AND HE CAN DO THIS FOR YOU HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD" like.....as opposed to just....showing them kindness and then saying "hey do you wanna go to my church?"

I kind of have a confused, fractured sense of what "witnessing" sorta entails. I know God can witness to a person's heart through that person's actions, reactions, their words, their relationships, ect.....I just....

Does any of my rambling make sense?

It's like I'm Christian but I SUCK at all the things that make a person a Christian. Reading the Bible, I don't do as often as I should, praying I do constantly, but I also tend to be less wanting to go to church all the time.... I just....

I thank God for His mercy cuz I don't look like much of a good witness. *slump*

It makes perfect sense to me. I've done some witnessing in my life and know how hard it can be, especially being an introvert. Your next to the last sentence is profound. I think the most effective form of witnessing is having others observe how you conduct yourself in everyday situations. From what I know about you I believe that in that area your witnessing for the Lord has been outstanding.

Sweetie you need not fret we all have weaknesses in different areas and also not everyone witnesses the same way, some simply witness and talk about the gospel but personally I have never had any good experience from this, mainly for me the way I witness is to just let my light shine you know? Usually at least for me people become curious how I always have this light about me or ask me how I can be so happy all the time other times it's a single act of kindness that does it but I have never been the lets go out and preach the gospel kind of person

And I do have to rebuke my self at this statement. What I DO is not what makes me a Christian, my relationship and accepting Jesus as my SAVIOR is what makes me Christian. Admittedly I need to work on my relationship too but I think probably everyone does.

And thank you everyone for your kind words. I'm so glad this site exists so I can get some edification sometimes.
