Really?

You ARE Prince's disciple, aren't you?

You quote Prince all the time.

Prince says "some", then goes on to say "those before the cross" which is what, 90+% of everything Jesus said?

Yeah, that was a sneaky way to do it..... him & you.

Who's "dealing deceitfully" again?

I think the BDF ought to take up pledges & buy you a full-size magnifying mirror so you can see that "deceitful dealer" a little better.
:)
He does some serious ear scratching for his followers...

Jaumej keep up the good work of the Lord.. and all that share the Testimony of the Messiah.

May many come to build their house on the good foundation by your efforts.

We Love the Father of lights for we are His children by His Love ,Grace and Mercy... long suffering for His undeserving children.

We are truly blessed beyond anything we can ever offer, so let us be obedient in all He asks of us.. Enduring whatever is set before us, so that we can Glorify Him.. Worship Him in Spirit and Truth always and forever. So be it.

Many here have great debatges utilizing, improperly, the Epistles. They say they believe Jesus but always quote Paul, wrongly I might add.

Paul did not die on the cross for your sins.......source here........Paul.

There is only ONE GTospel, that of Jesus Christ.......one source............Paul.

We do not belong to Paul, we belong to Jesus christ.........source............Paul.

When anyone here quotes Paul to sjupport any argument that contradicts the Teachings of Jesus Christ, he is opposing Jesus Christ, and not supporting Paul, but he is misunderstanding Paul.
Do not teach those who are in Jesus Chirsit to go to Pual first on any issue..........Paul b infererence.

When anyone quotes sPaul to satisfy their argument against th3e teachings of the Father, that person is not in Christ.

Be in Chrsit, learn from Him.......He has invited us all to learn directly from Him, from god.

If you choose to only abide in the flesh, you will.

Nice try at trolling. My post is honest and demonstrates I believe Paul and Jesus. First Jesus always, and Paul when he is teaching Jesus.....

All the sources in the first several lines of my post are Paul, and I state he is of Jesus.......again, nice try.

This is a good way to set up your audience to believe that there is some kind of conflict between the Lord Jesus Christ and the apostle Paul, the leading apostle in the New Testament and the writer of over half the NT.

So the first question we should ask ourselves when someone presents this dubious and phony conflict is: "Would God really allow a man who would be opposed to Christ to complete 51% of the New Testament and visit more churches in the Roman Empire than any other apostle"?

It is the Lord Himself who commissioned Paul, so these nonsensical threads are really from Satan to confuse gullible Christians into thinking that they should tear out half of their New Testaments.

15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake. (Acts 9:15,16)

13 At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.

14 And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.

16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;

17 Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,

18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

19 Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: (Acts 26:13,19)

It was the Judaizers who hated Paul, and today it is the enemies of Christ who try to claim that Paul is in conflict with Christ. Utter nonsense.

And the debate goes on. "The gospels are correct and Paul sometimes misspoke." Paul is correct because Jesus' word predates the resurrection." And on and on.

The Bible is the word of God. Every single word of it. If what you are reading seems to contradict another scripture, it's time for a more in depth study. Put away your pet arguments and get back into the scripture. I don't care what any of you say. My God is NOT the author of confusion.

I'm cautious of people that write so many books.. so many are taken in by these doctrines of men... Joseph prince needs to repent and believe instead of profiting himself by leading the blind.

New York times best seller? That speaks volumes in itself.

Billy Graham needs to repent and believe too because of his books that he wrote. For that matter every person that has written a book should be publicly slandered. What nonsense.

Galatians 5:15-16 (NASB)
[SUP]15 [/SUP] But if you bite and devour one another, take care that you are not consumed by one another.

[SUP]16 [/SUP] But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.

Anyone who is writing doctrines to deceive should repent and believe.

Why won't you seek the Truth with your heart and not chase the wind with these wolves...

I'll tell you what's utter nonsense..... Jumping the gun without properly reading the Op!

Usually those that do that are looking for an excuse to jump on someone.

and here we have another ridiculous Paul vs. Jesus thread.

Jamie, you do understand that Paul was Jesus's hand picked guy to carry the Gospel to the gentiles, who were not under that Law, most had never read the Torah. so, the notion that Paul " disagreed " with the Lord.
What's so rediculous about it?

It seems pretty strange to me that some are Always quoting Paul when we have GOD Himself who walked this earth and spoke and taught.

Paul was handpicked. That's nice.
But Jesus is Jesus. HE is the annointed one, HE is God's last prophet, HE is the WORD, not the word.

So, yes, it seems to me that many DO NOT understand the teachings of Paul.
Paul did not teach only spiritual truths. He also taught actual concrete teaching just like Jesus did.

But there's IS a difference...

Jesus, being God, made NO MISTAKES when He spoke. He spoke clearly so that all could understand.

Paul, OTOH, made comments that were not mistakes unto themselves, but which we TODAY cannot properly understand and he, not knowing the confusion they would cause, went ahead and made them.

Example: Being sealed in the Spirit.

When or Where did Jesus EVER say this?

A poster here said that Jesus could not say everything because it would not be understood until the Holy Spirit came.
This is not true.

EVERYTHING Jesus wanted to say He said and He said it well. Everything Jesus taught He taught properly and completely.
The above statement is akin to saying that Jesus could not make Himself be understood because the Holy Spirit did not appear yet.

JESUS IS THE HOLY SPIRIT.
JESUS IS GOD.
GOD CANNOT BE SEPARATED.

The Holy Spirit came to give power.
Acts 1:8
And to be a WITNESS to what Jesus had already done.

In the Great Commission,
Mathew 28:19
The Holy Spirit had not appeared yet, and yet JESUS said to His Apostles

"Go therefore and make DISCIPLES of all nations........"
28:20
"Teaching them to observe ALL THAT I COMMANDED you....."

Did Jesus not know that He wanted to make disciples of all the nations???
Did Jesus not know that He wanted all that he had COMMANDED to be OBSERVED???

When HE left, He sent the Holy Spirit to EMPOWER the Apostles and to remind them all that Jesus had taught.

John 14:26

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

Jesus wanted the Holy Spirit to remind us of all HE had taught.

And that is what we are to pay attention to.

The op of this thread, my op is to show people that Paul teaches teh Gospel of Jesus Christ.

It is to point out and stress there is only one Gospe, according to Paul

It is to stress no one belongs to Paul or Peter or Joh, but to Jesus Christ.

Also it stresses only Jesus Christ died for our sins......Paul declares this also.

In so doing it is designed to demonstrate to those who pick a line here and
a line there from Paul's letters to support something they are teaching, that is
to say, something not to be taught according to Jesus and Paulo certain people
who claim to believe Paul use these loose lines to support themselves but when
his writings are put forthe withunderstanding, they immediately turn it into
a Jesus verses Paul thread.

My op seems to have weeded out the more obvious false teachers who only
quote Paul out of context in order to support a doctrine of their own that has
absolutely nothing to do with the teachings of Jesus christ.

Three of these false teachers showed up immediately and a couple more later on.

Actually I have not kept an accurate count but all who believe Jesus christ, and Paul
recognize them......... The would usually be the ones who have decided althought
the op supports both Paul and Jesus it is pitting them against eachother...sad, very sad.

The way they do that is the authors "buy" their own books under another company name & resell them.

That's how Joel Osteen has bestsellers within 2 weeks.
