I want this thread to be a place where people can post what they tell them self to get through the day or what they live by

Mine for today is:

Just relax and follow Christ!

"If they don't do their job, that's between them and the boss. All I gotta do is make sure I do my job, and thank God I'm not a manager."

That wasn't a joke. I really have to remind myself of that multiple times a day at work.

I remind myself that I have been crucified with Christ (Galatians 2:20) and that there is therefore now no condemnation because I am in Him (Romans 8:1), and so I must no longer allow myself to be deceived into thinking that because of my sin I am unworthy, or unloved by God, because I know that God is gracious and merciful and will not turn away His face from me if I return to Him (2 Chronicles 30:9).

I know that I am set free from sin because of Christ, that I am forgiven, and no matter what I have done in the past, God has forgiven my wickedness and will remember my sins no more (Hebrews 8:12). I remind myself that I am a sinner, that only Jesus was without sin, and so when I sin again as I am sure to do, I know that I have an advocate with the Father (1 John 2:1). So I must continue to lay aside every sin which clings to me and set my eyes on Jesus (Hebrews 12:1-2), I must put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:11), and take up my cross daily and follow Jesus (Matthew 16:24).

These are verses I often return to for encouragement in my daily walk with Christ. None of our walks are perfect, but Matthew 24:13 tells us that the one who endures to the end, will be saved. Praise the Lord!

I remind myself that whatever I go through within it is not giving me an accurate picture of what's REALLY going on.

"Weariness is a spiritual condition that is caused when we stop trusting in God while we are waiting"

I often repeat and have this on a post it on my work computer. Cant take credit of course but cannot remember the author.

"Who am I, and what was I doing?"

I can be so scatter-brained at times, trying to do 8 things at once, that I often find myself asking this question several times during the day.

my motto of the day: dont be hard on yourself, eat well and sleep well.. tomorrow will do better than today ;)

"is talking in singles forum the best way to find single women as crazy as me?"
