Well I give you credit for persistence, but you do need to change your name.

NOPE NOPE NOPE. NOT required in salvation

If we have been discipled properly in truth than there will be the divine influence of grace in our hearts and we will work as we know that there are rewards from God. Even these works are only accomplished in His love otherwise they are dead works.

Salvation was dealt with at the cross...Rewards will be dealt with in Heaven

Please stop trying to confusing things
Hi Undergrace...Just want to point out, if you take the P from Pharts name, then you will see what is underneath, like God does with us, He looks on the inside of our heart not the out...Just felt you threw a small pebble at him, it`s Scripture that is being discussed, not names...xox...

Thanks for the chuckle.

But I disagree about those in Hebrews, that they never accepted Jesus,

They were indeed born again, but they have fallen from grace back to the law or they were thinking that they had to be born again, again and again (much like Phart) like the sacrifices in the temple done repeatedly, not understanding that the sacrifice of the cross was a one time event sufficient to cover all sins.

The writer is telling them NO....being born again is a one time thing, it even covers all the sins even those that are willfully done since those were not covered by the temple sacrifices.

I love the style of writing in Hebrews, one really has to go over and over it to pick up his / her voice and style :) (some think it was a woman)

He has been stuck in that mindset. He really needs revelation from the Holy Spirit.

He is not the only one who thinks we can be BORN AGAIN, a NEW creation, a child of the living God, indwelt by the Holy Spirit, and THEN cast away into hell by the very Father that Begot them! A sheep morphing into a goat. A pickle somehow changing back to a cucumber.

I pray they would see those referred to in Hebrews 6 and 10 are those that NEVER accepted Jesus, and instead shrunk back to dead works for salvation like animal sacrifice, and THAT is what is trampling on the blood of Christ.

without context to scripture, how will you grow. and understand ,what god is doing in your life. if your cut off. etc

if it your interpretation is wrong.

gal 1-4,

its your choice,
Galatians 5: Christ Has Set Us Free
1 For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.
2 Look: I, Paul, say to you that if you accept circumcision, Christ will be of no advantage to you.3 I testify again to every man who accepts circumcision that he is obligated to keep the whole law.4 You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace.

would mean ,it is your choice, to what you except or decline meaning .

do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.

would ask the reader to define ,what is this yoke of slavery, that you should not put on.

if putting this yolk on is defined as being cut of from, who.

One cannot fall back if one is saved as in lose salvation, so to what did they fall back to....another million dollar question?

Expressions mean different things in different contexts and the writers of Hebrews if very expressive in language and style.

OK sister. I can see where you're coming from. I'm of the thought that they were of those from this verse:

1 John 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

Thats true sis. my point was that the author of Hebrews wrote to his Hebrew bretheryn, saved or not, no person who goes back to law was saved, if they were saved, they would never return.

No book is is written solely to believers, it may be addressed to saints, but each author acknowledges by is words peopl reading his words may be in church but not yet saved, and They give warning they may need to hear,

by the way I am not arguing with you or judging you, just giving you a different view.

we were talking, about being cut, of for misrepresenting scripture.

when did that have anything to do with gospel truth.

even a non believer, can get the gist of gospel truth , just by reading this account given.

your problem, what gospel law, is it you ,have to repent from.

Yes that word "obey" can be translated as listen to,be under military command or have faith in your superior officer.

However it does not change the fact that Greek work is NOT used when referring to the word BELIEVE in reference to eternal salvation by having faith in Jesus and His finished work on the cross.

Yes we should obey God. However the Greek word obey and believe are not the same word. I know some Greek proferssors with PHDs and they say make a distinction between the two Greek words used in Hebrews 5v9 ( Strong's Greek: 5219. ὑπακούω (hupakouó) -- to listen, attend to ) and John 3v18 (John 3:18 Greek Text Analysis. )
Did I say it was the same word?

Who's talking about Hebrews and John?

Did you not read the article? Everywhere the word is used it has a slightly different meaning.

Both words BELIEVE and OBEY have the same connotation in Greek.

It's in black and White. It's not my opinion.
Go ask your Greek professors.

I'll bet my Greek Professor knows more than your Greek Professor.

IF YOU BELIEVE IN SOMEONE
YOU OBEY THAT PERSON

If you don't obey them
You don't believe in them.

EASY AS PIE.

END.

Oh yes, I agree on this verse, very clear they were not of us

But Phart uses Hebrews but he is not seeing it....we (many of us) have tried Lord knows :)

you have no idea who put the whole bible together.

wrong ,the book is written by a jewish writter to most probably. to his family and friends. you have no proof to this or proof that this writer read any other book in the bible.(from the new testamant books)etc

45 And the believers from among the circumcised who had come with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out even on the Gentiles.4Acts 10
