What's the 1st thing you would say to you god chosen partner

Hi everyone..as we single and many are trusting god to help us find a partner that will be right for us.Many years ago I actually wrote a poem that I would give to this special someone if I had met them..(it was a bit soppy and romantic)
I wouldn't give THAT poem to the now though as I have grown through life experiences and just like some out have have gone through bad relationship that God has rescued us from..'praise his wonderful name'.

Just think for a minute that God brought into your life someone they you knew was right for you and you also KNEW this was God ordained and you and this other person are now committed to one another unto go in a loving relationship.
Having finally met them having waited ect for a number of years..what would you want to day to them from the heart..having gone through singleness ect and knowing what particular things you had gone through to get to this place..what would you say to this god given soul mate,,chosen by God just for you?


I would look them in the eye and say
" I have waited long and hard for you.I have trusted god for you.I have been preserved by God just for you and finally now you are here in my life,It has been a long road,.but finally you are here!'


what would you say to them??

If I was to be blessed by a God chosen partner, and speaking with him the first time, I would be so humbled by everything, I would say, with a firm handshake: "Hi. I am Andrea." Then I would probably become so shy. I would look down counting the dots on my dress or something totally pointless, and just hope and pray God will give the man courage to say something or do something that will make it less awkward. I might even weep, looking down at my toes, that perhaps should have been cut, and my little pinky that perhaps just had become a little bit more crooked. And when the ice finally breaks, I can't keep back my tears anymore. Tears of joy, relief and extreme gratitude. "Thank you Jesus" would probably be the first comprehensible words I would utter.

First, how would I know she was The One? Are we using The Force or does God tell me directly, "That's her"?

Second, are we in a crowd or alone? That will have a very large impact on what I say.

Third, am I aware that she knows I am The One for her too, or is she (for all I know) not even aware I exist yet? That also would change what I say to her quite a bit.

But even if I knew the answers to all those questions, I still don't know what I would say to her. The me of then will not be the me of now, and there is no way for me to know what I will be then.

awwwww..bless your heart Toinena
I am sure he would find you endearing and this would most likely give him the incentive to initiate conversation..
I find your're likely response of tears of joy rather touching as it would show how blessed you would feel and a little overwhelmed, and thanking God shows you would of gone through a particular path to become emotional and thank him.

Had a hamster once. It was my ex-wife's responsibility to feed and water the little beast. A couple weeks after we got him I noticed that his food bowl was empty. He was standing next to a dry water dish that had dust on it. I gave him a little nudge and he keeled over. He was hard as a rock. Don't get me started on the canary's that she insisted we buy. I think they lasted a week. Instead of cleaning the cage and disposing of their bodies I heaved the whole thing in the dumpster. If I wasn't such a nice guy I would have tossed my ex-wife in there also.

Ugh. I might not have been so nice. Putting an animal in a cage and then neglecting it is a MAJOR peeve of mine. You put the animal where it can't get away, you'd better at least give it the necessities.

My ex-wife is an animal and probably not deserving of the necessities.

Ha ha....I think he would say.."Yes I was caught in traffic.The traffic was all the things build up between us that blocked/hindered the romantic road that was ment to bring us together..So it took a little time..But the God we serve never changes his mind and gave me the strength to get through that "traffic"

*Channeling the spirit of certain grumpy men on the forum*

"A man's heart is like stinkweed. You don't know how truly stinky it is until you peel back the outer layers." :p

Actually a man's heart is like a peach. Pretty simple, what you see is what you get all the way from the outside to the center. And at the center is a core as solid as a rock.

Or at least that's what the men I know are like. I am blessed to know some pretty good men.
