My conversation has yet to be laid out. You've no idea why I asked what I asked.. again you don't have what I want.. because I'm not asking for your thoughts..
yes, am serious. No one knows if he had remorse, or repentance, or was tormented to death. Anyone should be able to answer this. And rebellion is not to your words, but His.

Stones... His reward is with Him to give to us according to works. Lvm1 is not making this up..

What came to pass on the cross and Resurrection means He can reward you with Everlasting life by Grace through Faith.

Rewards do do not include eternal life. Blood only! His precious blood.

I have read a prophetic warning that there would be those against the blood of Jesus. Now it's here.

Then why does the Bible say we are a new creation now? Why does it say eternal life dwells in us? Why does Jesus say those who believe in Me have PASSED from death to life? Just to name a few.

This soldier like display may fool some here but those who are His are not deceived by you.

May you Repent and Believe.

modern day Pharisee if ever I saw one.

According to the High Priest there is work to be done.. so ignore the title of this thread and adhere to your Master.

The gift is Everlasting life rewarded based on your works.

Blessed are they that do His Commandments indeed because they are given the right to the Tree of life.

Revelation 22

2And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
16I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Is the "reward" He is talking about , really eternal life?

Coz He says that He will give to every man, "according to his works".

Could someone who has done less "work" than the next person... receive a "lesser" portion of eternal life?

I dont see how "eternal life" could be the ultimate "reward".

I would rather live just ONE day with the Lord and then die... rather than live Forever without Him.

So then... in that case, what is the "true" reward?

To me.. Its to become apart of His "Family"... and no longer a "servant" ^^

Php 3:17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.

Php 3:18 (For many walk, ofwhom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are theenemies of the cross ofChrist:

This is serious what you two, Fran, and loveme are espousing.

It is deadly serious... we know the outcome of those that are hindered with falsehood.. we know What is of GOD and what is not.

enemies of the cross? For sharing His Truth.. you know GOD is the power of the cross? It is what came to pass by the Love and Power of our Gracious Merciful GOD.. not the cross itself..

You speak truth in your last line.. and that is what we are sharing the Good foundation.. if you believed you would do well.
really? Last line only? That's scripture above that last line.

Nothing you say will I regard as something to hear. You aren't on the right foundation and you declare your own works.

It has always been blood sacrifice. Life is in blood. His blood was heavenly blood. Not of earth.

Because his guilt was eating away at him. He tried to return the blood money (and failed), but he also failed to go to the One he betrayed and ask for his forgiveness.

Genuine repentance should have led him to go to Pontius Pilate and ask to be crucified instead of the Son of Man. The repentant malefactor who was being crucified beside Christ told the unrepentant one that they were being justly punished for their misdeeds. So that would have been the just punishment that Judas should have begged for.

However, that would have overridden God's plan of salvation, so instead Judas hanged himself, since he could no longer live with himself. Of course none of this is revealed in Scripture, but we are simply drawing conclusions from what happened and what could have happened hypothetically.
Hi Nehemiah,

I don't want to open up this discussion again since it is purely a matter of opinion.
I believe Judas was saved at the beginning.

Regarding your comment about Judas not going back to Jesus...

How could he? Jesus was in the hands of Rome by then.
And he felt such remorse (i do believe it was remorse) that he realized what a mistake he made that he did kill himself.

God could have picked ANY method to allow Jesus to die. It did not require a traitor. The Sanhedrin could have easily Condemned Jesus without any help from Judas.

My two cents...

I'm not fighting, I'm telling you that you're not helping because the thought I wanted to understand didn't come from you
fine. I have nothing more to say. This isn't even worth talking about.

Yeah. I'm gonna have to go back now and read it again. I know what scripture says about the account afterwards and I think that's what you put. I was looking for more supportive scripture concerning what you wrote. The conclusion you came to.
Did you see my reply?

How does one become a part of a family?

So far, you've explained according to what the bible says.

The same Bible that states what I shared indeed...

What would Adam of obtained if he ate from the Tree of life? It was to be guarded.. but the Messiah overcame so that He can give us the right to it.

[TD="class: passage-col col-xs-12 first last"][h=1]1 Peter 1King James Version (KJV)[/h]1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

We have it right there...loveme states "not in the Cross".

Are you Jehovahs Witness?
Oh really Stone!

She said "Not the cross itself"...

Jesus came for more than ONE REASON.

Do you know the main theme of Jesus' preaching?

Tell us what it is please.

Go look in the gospels and tell us HOW MANY TIMES Jesus preached on salvation.

Now tell us HOW MANY TIMES He preached on the Kingdom of God and WHAT WE'RE SUPPOSED TO DO to be a part of it.

THIS IS NOT TO DIMINISH HIS SACRIFICE!

It's just to answer something you don't quite understand.

PLEASE do what I say, since I know you won't take my word for it,
And then come back here and tell us:

How many times Jesus spoke of SALVATION or BEING SAVED.
and
How many times He spoke of what we are TO DO and the KINGDOM OF GOD.

Do it!
