He was lead singer for Wham! in the 80's, then he went on his own and he sang this (among other hits)... :)

He became infamous following his very public 1998 arrest for a “lewd act” in a Beverly Hills restroom. He was a regular heart throb so that must have shattered his public image; his vids always showed him with women even though he was gay. Careless Whisper was one of his biggest hits. It came out (no pun intended :D) seven or eight years before you were born :eek: Beware the racy videos :eek:

Oh I see...I've heard some of his songs. My brother plays "Careless Whisper" on his saxophone. No joke, I'll wake up some Saturdays to it. -_-

Now I know who he is! So he came "out" in 1998? I find it hard to believe that people couldn't see it before.

He was famous way before that. Wham had a bunch of top hits here in the US during the 80's and he did too during the 80's and 90's. The bathroom incident happened long after he had stopped making records. Everyone knew he was gay, but it was the fact that he was caught doing something in a public restroom by an undercover cop that shocked everyone. (The police never said what he exactly he was doing). He paid a $500 bail and was released. I don't know what they punished him with, probably a fine.

Serious answer: In defense of your friend, there are a lot of single people who only have a mini-fridge.

Ludicrous Lynx answer: Maybe your friend was going to ask if your freezer was running... and then tell you to catch it before it gets away. :rolleyes:

And by the way, the milk is still out at the spring house...

Yes, but he became INfamous for being caught in the act :D In an industry that panders to female emotions, image is everything. I don't think it really hurt his selling power, though :)

We would notice anybody, and try (gently) to pull them into whatever the conversation is. It's okay if you're quiet and shy, but it's a lot better if you can talk.

Don't bother bringing food. We always have way too much food. It's all good food, but there's always too much of it anyway.

Be sure to bring a small present if you want in on the Dirty Santa game after breakfast. Nominal price point is $10, but if you find that perfect gift that everybody will be stealing from everybody else and it's $15 go ahead and get that.
