Thank you, Valiant.
Is that what you see?

I see a lot of evil parrots, chanting enchantments against God's law,
and striving to turn the children away the word, and away from doing the commandments,
while saying that righteousness has manifested.

Steering people away from God's word is not righteousness.
Not in His eyes.

What are you going to do?

Start a whole new Bible written by you,
so you can teach the people how to get to God without doing as He commands?

If you didn't get to God by believing Jesus and keeping the commandments,
I don't believe you have got to God yet, or get to Him anymore.

Verily, verily, I say unto you,
He that enters not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way,
the same is a thief and a robber.

John 10:1

For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering;
and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

Isaiah 61:8

A blessing,
if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:

Deuteronomy 11:27

Bless God

The basic concept is the Law is forever and applies to all. No one is capable of never failing to keep the law. Therefore only those accepting Jesus as their savior are cleansed from being judged by the law. His blood cleanses us washing away our sins. Basic gospel (good news).

Thank you Endoscopy.
The basic concept is the Law is forever and applies to all.
Amen.

No one is capable of never failing to keep the law.
No one is capable of keeping it perfectly all the time.

Therefore only those accepting Jesus as their savior are cleansed from being judged by the law.
Those that are circumcised (saved) of Jesus are debtors to do the whole of the law.

When we gave our life to Jesus, we were handed the Bible, weren't you?
So we are the people who have the law.
The Atheists and unconverted don't have the law.
So two lots of people, those came to Jesus and have been given the law,
and those that haven't come to Jesus yet. Right?

For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law:
and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

Romans 2:12

We who were brought to Jesus are the sinners in the law,
and Atheists sin without law.
We have the law to judge us, they don't.
We are obligated to reprove ourselves, they are not.

His blood cleanses us washing away our sins. Basic gospel (good news).
I went for the deep understanding.
People kept telling me, the blood.
But nobody was saying how I can get a drink.

Just have faith, they said.
No, I want a drink.
Jesus says that if I do not drink His blood, there isn't any life in me.

So tell me, how did you get a drink?
Is that in your basic philosophy?
Paul

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come.
And let him that hears say, Come.
And let him that is athirst come.
And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

The law and the commandments abide according to the understanding given by what our Lord, Jesus Christ, has done, what He has taught on the law and commandments, and His Example.

It is most important to alway keep in mind while studying and meditating on the law the three principles most paramount in their understanding and application, faith, mercy and justice. If the particular law goes against any of these, by Christ's Example alone, we know to overlook it for it is fulfilled by mercy............justice, and faith....

We know to overlook it?
You are saying we have to judge God's law to know which laws to overlook.

Are you sure about that?

What sounds more right to me,
is if we go by God's judgments to know what "mercy............justice, and faith...." are.
I think He knows better than us.
Wouldn't you say?

Bless God

The Messiah gave examples and just last night I read this:

Luke 13

10And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath. 11And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. 12And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. 13And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. 14And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day. 15The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering? 16And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? 17And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

Hear Yeshua. When the woman was caught in the very act of adultery with many witnesses, far more than the three witnesses required by the law, she should have been stoned to death according to the law........Jesus argued her defense and she was aquitted. Jesus never broke the law, yet He, applying mercy allowed and argued her defense.

In the law it is written an eye for an eye etc........yet Yeshua teaches us not so, rather if your enemy smites yo on the cheek offer him the other as well. We are to love our enemies. Most of all we are to judge no man to condemnation for we do not reign and the King has not returned to reign as yet.

when He returns He will first destroy the destroyers....... He brings justice in His hand.....so much more.

Of course there are laws to overlook. None of the Levitical laws may be applied for we are the priests with One High Priest. There is no Israel that is a Theocracy on earth so none of the laws applying to the first Israel's country can possibly apply especially in view of the number of false theologies in place under the uimbrella called Judaism. This applies also to the false theologies under the Christianity umbrella.

It takes much study, pdrayer and meditation to follow Jesus.......keep up the good works. God bless you always.......

Thank you, Jaume. We know to overlook it?

Jesus himself broke the Sabbath right in front of the Pharisees. You are the church right ? So every day is holy and filled w/ servitude inside of Jesus' church body . Also the old covenant was fulfilled by Jesus. I believe Sabbath is old covenant law ! This was finished after Jesus' blood was spilled.

Jesus never broke any law, not even the Sabbath. He, being the Author of all, understands the SAbbatj- We must all learn of Him, as He has invited all to do.

Something I understand from Him; I made my bed this morning. I know He wants me to be comfortable when it is not necessary to suffer with Him. If you believe He broke the Sabbath by doing good on the SAbbath then you must believe the Father breaks it weekly and always did for as Jesus said, "My Father is working and so must I."

In these threads there is a lot of extremism that does not exist in the teachigns of the Word........some extreme grace-onliers, and some who preach obedience of the law, yet do not understand a thing Yeshua has explained and shined dHis light uponn,.

No one will enter through the Gates of the Kingdom by grace without works, and by the same token no one will earn a thing by obedience, but on the latter he can lose all by disobedience....... There is really no mystery here, but all must learn of Jesus Christ. or if you prefer, of Yeshua. Blessed be the Word of God, amen.

If he didn't break the Sabbath why where the Pharisees offended by his actions of healing in the temple ?

You can do whatever you want on Saturday. Or on Sunday. Or on Monday.

You can live in the real Sabbath all the week. Its not about inactivity.

Its psychologically good for people not to work on weekends and to do something different than during the week, though.

You will need to learn what had come to pass before which is recorded for us to learn from.. the Messiah called them out because they neglected the important things.. prefering the power and gain from and over the flock.. thank GOD the Good Shepherd came to set the record straight to save us..

Had Yeshua not shamed them by His understanding, then they would have been able to accuse Him with reason, but they could not. Therefor the Pharisees acquiesced to His understanding.

If he didn't break the Sabbath why where the Pharisees offended by his actions of healing in the temple ?

Now it is better to believe GOD whom declares those that Love Him Keep His Commandments.. through Faith in the Messiah’s Testament we learn Love and Truth.

[FONT=tahoma, helvetica, georgia, verdana, arial, sans-serif]Scripture also records that Jesus' disciples were walk*ing through a field on the Sabbath when they plucked and ate heads of grain. Why didn't Jesus rebuke them ?[/FONT]

Sure.

And after His death and resurrection He gave new set of rules to follow.

Because we are no longer servants, but children. You cannot be under both covenants at once.

Jesus Christ never taught that He IS the Sabbath, and to say otherwise is from Satan.

When He invited all to come to Him and He would provide rest, He is referring to learning from Him directly as the entire announcing says. He says His burden is easy and it is light, unlike the things taught by the Pharisees who weigh heavyi burdens on us yet will not move a finger to lift them themselves.

Never say Jesus christ is a permanent state of rest for us all while we yet work for our living and even moreso work good works given us by the Holy Spirit. Our Father is working yet, and so must we.

Again........that equating Jesus to having given us a permanent SAbbath is anti-Chrsit.......do not spread that muck around.

The core foundation upon which the New Covenant stands is as follows:

“This is the covenant I will make with them
after that time, says the Lord.
I will put my laws in their hearts,
and I will write them on their minds.”[SUP][b][/SUP][SUP]17 [/SUP]Then he adds:
“Their sins and lawless acts
I will remember no more

Heb 10:16&17

What is in your mind you in your mind must know, therefore, you must instinctively know the law God desires you to follow.
The law placed in your mind and written on your heart brings inner conviction from God as to what that law is. I can testify, when I got saved I did not have to read the law in the OT to be aware of my sin/the law God desired me to follow. I had inner conviction of it.
Question. Those who insist you must observe a set Saturday Sabbath. Did you gain that conviction through inner conviction/did you instinctively know that in your mind?(For that is where the law has been placed, in your most inward parts) Or, did you gain that conviction from reading what is written in ink?
