You left out this part, which really addresses the only point I care about.
"I was addressing people who were accusing Bethel taking part in this practice. We don’t and never have been been apart of this"
People need to stop spreading gossip and misinformation in the name of defending the faith. We as believers have an obligation to fact check before repeating something we say about others.
You CAN'T really be serious with this response! The WHOLE page is a defense of these practices!
This is his response in support of the letter written about these practices:
To whom it may concern;
Let’s be clear: 1- I was speaking against Tarot cards and their use, which I am still against.
2- I was addressing people who were accusing Bethel taking part in this practice. We don’t and never have been been apart of this. So that’s still true!
3- The people who were named in the article, were never named in the people’s accusations of us (that I knew of at the time) nor did I name anyone in my posts.
4- The article turned out to be fake news against great people who love God, don’t use Tarot cards and lead 1000s of people who do, to Christ.
So yes, I retract any implication I made against them for obvious reasons.
He is saying he is against
TAROT CARDS not the practices and "tarot cards" these people made up.
This is from the Bethel Pastor further down in the comments section:
Did you read their letter? I guess the point is that you don’t believe them.
1- Tarot cards don’t lead people to Jesus...they lead you into bondage.
2- The purpose behind their cards is to help people who are stuck in the occult find Christ.
3- Their cards have scriptures on them. Tarot cards don’t.
4- The art on their cards are developed by believers who want to use their gift for God. Example: I write books with the same purpose. Our singers use their music to touch people for Christ also. The first person ever “filled with the Spirit” in the Bible was an artist. Exodus 31
Now how can YOU honestly say they don't support this?
