Soooo, when a doctrine in Scripture goes against what you want, you cry mistranslation based on bias? I guess you don't like 1 Corinthians all that well either.

3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

God - Christ - man - woman

That's the order of authority like it or not. God ordained it not King James.
That isn't what Paul wrote. He wrote "every man-Christ; the woman-the man; Christ-God". The order is important, and so are the articles. To put it as you did, it would be God - Christ - all males; a male - a female. All men are not over all women. This strongly indicates a marriage relationship, for in no other context (except a father with his own daughter) is a male "over" a female in any biblical sense.

And btw, a translation can be inspired by God. Just look all throughout Scripture for examples.
Which proves absolutely nothing, as has been explained to you several times.

I’m a Jesus onlyist aren’t you?
And isn’t everything about Jesus onlyist?
Still a fallacy of equivocation.

And no, I'm not a Jesus-onlyist. I believe in God the Father Almighty, God the Son Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit. There is one God.

For those who think I hate the KJV. I have...

Dake’s annotated bible in KJV...never use it now
KJV study bible in leather
The KJV bible that Everette Gaddy and Jerry Gaddy had an infomercial about. The Subject bible
A Thomas Nelson ref bible in KJV I abused with highlighters and notes
KJV Thompson Chain
Hebrew/Greek KJV study Bible by Spiros Zohadites(sp?)
Another Thomas Nelson ref bible in itty bitty print

And I am thinking I have some more KJV’s I am forgetting about.
Isn't it odd how the print shrinks when you get older? ;)

That's an easy one, trofimus. Christ, of course is the True Most High King and Mighty Prince of God. In my opinion, the commoners referred to the king of England as such; either out of respect or fear of beheading. Lol. I don't really know for sure.

Terrie, you might want to make use of the "Reply With Quote" button (lower right of a post) so Trof knows which post you're answering... and so will everyone else. :)

In the beginning was The Word, and The Word was with God, and The Word was God (John 1:1). And The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His Glory, the Glory as The Only Begotten of The Father,) full of Grace and Truth (John 1:14). Jesus IS The Word, & may be found by anyone seeking Him with all their heart!

Isa 14:1-11

1 For the Lord will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.
2 And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the Lord for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.
3 And it shall come to pass in the day that the Lord shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,

Here the declamation against Babylon begun in Is 13:1 is interrupted with a Juxtaposition in time and place.
I'm assuming that you realize Isaiah 13 is talking about the day of the Lord, what justifies a juxtaposition in time and place in Isaiah 14:1?

Luther—Und seine Eltern gingen alle Jahre gen Jerusalem auf das Osterfest.

Osterfest My skills in German are very limited; but I believe that there is a clear distinction between Osterfest celebration of the resurrection and Oestern the Saxon 'goddess of the East'

The KJV may indeed have gotten the Easter paganization from Tyndale.
Are you sure this is right? I googled "Oestern goddess of the east" and returned nothing about her. Do you have a link to support your claim?

Didn't know he had one. But I wouldn't take it if you paid me to take it.

That Dake I have had since before I was saved. It still looks new in the bible case I have it in. His notes are scary.

On the bright side, it can double as a bullet-proof vest.

But Acts 12:4 wasn’t written in the 1300’s. Pascha means Passover.

The Christ is our Paschal Lamb, not a Paas Easter egg.
In German Christ is our Osterlamm. In German the passover is called Oster. Why are you knocking the KJV because they used the German word for passover?

Pascha is not a German word. The original inspired text used Pasha, not Osterlamm. He is our Paschal Lamb, not a Paas Easter egg.
