Clearly written scripture is not "my opinion" nor any others opinion. That is the true word of God. Oppose that word and that is opposing your BIBLE and having no trust in it. You should listen to the extremely clear words of the Bible, that's what you should listen to. Not me or anyone else. And here are those words for you again, very clear and very easy to understand. There is no interpretation needed at all in order to understand these verses.

1 Corinthians 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but [they are commanded] to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

1 Corinthians 14:35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

The silence in a assembly atmosphere had to do with married men counceling with woman and married women counceling with men. Both have spouses at home to discuss family matters.

1 Corinthians 14 could in one sense be paraphrased

Let your men keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but [they are commanded] to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their wives at home: for it is a shame for men or women to speak of relationship problems in the church.

There are no singles minstries spoken of in the church .It takes a dynamic duel to handle relationship proplems that cannot be resolved at home.its a possition that must be proved acording to all of its requirement . Its a famaily affair

Many of you keep making the very same mistake over and over again by claiming scripture is my opinion. Scripture is neither my opinion, your opinion nor anyone's opinion. The scripture is the absolute truth and very much of the BIBLE is crystal clear with zero interpretation needed. There is no interpretation needed in these verses I've provided. They could not be any more clear. Anyone who opposes them is arguing with God's words, they are not arguing with me because those are not my words. That is what many here are failing to understand. I didn't write the words, I am simply passing that truth along. These are God's words of truth. People can either choose to go by them or not.

The BIBLE is in no need of your paraphrasing. It is crystal clear already. Anyone attempting to paraphrase these verses are simply trying to find an excuse not to go by them. That is precisely what most churches do today. They attempt to twist the verses into something they are not in an attempt to get around submitting themselves unto them. That is false teaching attempting to change the BIBLE to fit your own agenda. The Bible is not there to conform to us and our liking. As Christians, we are supposed to be conforming to it.

Since you're defending the right to post an incorrect age, may I ask if 75 is really your age? No offense, just wondering.
No I am not defending the right to post an incorrect age (and that is your assumption, unless you have actually seen a birth certificate). And my age is none of your business, nether is your age my business. Totally irrelevant.

Instead of a Christian site full of Christians, I will tell you what this thread here much more closely resembles. This thread here much more closely resembles a large group of liberals twisting the BIBLE any which way they can in order to fit their own agenda. With about 5 or 6 people that are actually interested in representing the truth.

With about 5 or 6 people that are actually interested in representing the truth in respect to your agenda of your bias? We all have own own bias as a hope but we are given a hope that surpases human hope, as a living hope. We are not saved by our hope as a bias .For who hopes for that in which they already have. As Christians. I would think we have that mutual hope coming from the mutual faith of God who does work in us both to will and do His good pleasure.(imputed righteousness) And as we work with him we have a future hope that will not disapoint those who beleive God, according to the same spirit of truth, according as it is written,

I would offer even God who is of one mind and always does whatsoever his soul pleases has his own agenda.

By a labor of His Love described as a work of His faith he softens the heart of a man or woamn in the same breath. No di vision between man and woman one head Christ.

Job 23:13 But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth.
Job 23:14 For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him.
Job 23:15 Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when I consider, I am afraid of him.
Job 23:16 For God maketh my heart soft, and the Almighty troubleth me:

2Corinthians 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

The "truth" does not involve any bias any opinion nor any agenda. It stands alone as the word of GOD. That is your main problem, you think everything is simply an opinion. The BIBLE is not any opinion. It is truth. You can either recognize that fact or not recognize it. That is up to you.

God's bias is Law. Our bias is an opinion of His law. The counterfeiter wants to separate that which God call one and bring together that which he calls separate.

Do we need a man or woman to teach us. Or is the Holy Spirit capable to teach, guide comfort us and bring all thing to our mind that he has taught us?

1 Corinthians 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but [they are commanded] to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

Nobody has an issue with you posting Scripture. Nobody argues about whether it is Scripture.

While you are welcome to share your views and comments, they are not Scripture. Nobody is required to accept your views on what is or is not clear, or what does or doesn't require interpretation. Further, nobody is required to accept your methodology for applying Scripture.

In my opinion most of the posters on this thread are conservative and not liberal. You do take a rather liberal slant in your interpretation of certain passages of scripture though.

they have proven they care much, much more about their own earthly views rather than anything the BIBLE has to say. Now, if you want to twist all of that around and pretend the one posting truth is wrong, then certainly that does resemble some sort of witchcraft at work. Wisdom is found in obeying the BIBLE. It is not found by opposing it.

He works himself into a bit of a frenzy here accusing Auntie of witchcraft.

Add that to the list. Those who disagree with Lloyd are:

Feminists
Blaphemers
Haters of The Bible
Liberals
Witches

You don't have to be female to make the Lloyd list

I honestly never even look at the age unless the comments are some kind of off the wall

I do know how old mr loyal is for the above reason

recently, some other brand new poster, just logged in yesterday in fact, lists his age as 20 and says he was saved in Dec of 2017

I know for a fact that those 2 things are not true at all just from how he posts ( prob most people could tell it is so obvious)

I look at a person's profile only when their remarks are egregious, geared to make a person think they are a nouvelle prophet and everyone needs to listen up and other titillating factors

threads like this never conclude and a person can drop in or out anytime they want to or not

didn't say anything everyone does not already know  ;)

Priscila and Aquila are married workers of the Christian Church during the 1st Century Era.

so the answer is WOMEN can preach even the married ones.

but they are not allowed to lead the Christian Church like Paul and Peter.

They will remain subordinates to the Christian male leaders.

Praise God that there are plenty of subordinate women to go around.

It is also extremely evident that no one here is required to use any of their common sense either, as that is all it takes in order to figure out those scriptures. No interpretation required. Crystal clear.

1 Corinthians 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but [they are commanded] to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
