Honestly! Have you been reading this thread?
NO! :) I do not want to dive into depths of various insults and personal comments...

But you said that to a post that seemed to be just about what happened with Eve..?

I do not suppose this internet forum to be any official preaching, so you can :)
Well then go back and read some of the dozens of posts I've made on the subject of the OP. I'm getting really tired of feeling unworthy because I was born a female.

I would like to know just who you think you are? You speak consistently like a the self-appointed head of some ultra-religious tribunal out to make heads roll.
Thou shalt not kill (dash to pieces).

Dashing to pieces is exactly how most abortions are performed.

So when exactly is it acceptable to kill an unborn human? Third? Second? First?

Who is the judge to when it is not human? Science?

I've obviously missed something, even though I've read every single post in this thread...what does abortion have to do with the threads topic...??

Well, I am unworthy to be pregnant.

I am unworthy to live in the USA.

I am unworthy to be an angel.

So what? We all have some roles... I would not base it around the word "unworthy" at all, IMHO.

Also, our current status is not our eternal status. After resurrection, there will be no such limitation.

It is your own words that condemn you. Not mine.

it would appear her husband lied to her by adding and "neither shall you touch it". They both fell in that joint adventure.

perusing this thread, I find myself thinking that the words being argued over apply equally to men

nothing will change in the real world, but the attitudes being revealed tell a sad story of why so many churches are loveless and dying

I can't see any reason I would want to be a part of any church where men actually thump the Bible and demand women put a zipper in it

this is an ignorant and hateful attitude. again, I don't really want a woman pastor myself, but as a woman, I have many good things to say...and I have I might add...in church and helped people...I am convinced that God skirts around the attitudes revealed here and blesses women with the ability to speak on His behalf and move with the leading of His Spirit and he blesses the work of their hands and the words they speak

whether or not you like it, God loves women and many women have a heart for God that many men could take example from

it is more than obvious, that many women are written of in the Bible...especially the New Testament...that did serve God in equal capacity with men

notice in the OT, women were often almost or actually, chattel

it is only AFTER Jesus is resurrected, that we see ourselves liberated to love God and worship Him and perhaps we have the best reasons of all to do so

I wish women would quit this thread and allow the hard hearts of certain men to continue. you are speaking into the wind because God does not bless the ears of such hard hearts to hear any but their own words. people seem to be getting angrier and nothing is resolved

women's outrage in this thread is understood best by women, although certainly a good number of men defend our hearts

even after this thread is either closed or dies a natural death, due to lack of participation, another will erupt of the same genre and intent

constantly telling others what God says to them, in condemnation and obvious anger, is not the work of God's Spirit

women, are you convinced in your heart that you are following the leading of the Holy Spirit in your life?

then continue in good conscience because God is ultimately the One we live before and answer to

again, wishing the good ladies would leave off and allow the thread to die

just my thoughts. hugs. lovely day where I live and hope your day is also wonderful whether or not the sun is shining, the Son we believe in, sheds His light on us all

I do not know, when I stick with what Bible says, Eve was deceived first and gave also to Adam (who was our representative and authority) and the act of Adam was the death of us all.

On the other hand, Eve (as mother of all living) was saved through Mary (bearing the saviour of the world) and we, Adams children, are saved in the second Adam, Jesus Christ, who is from woman and from God.

Does it make sense? Everything in God´s plan has some culmination.

Women are allowed to preach but they cannot rule the Christian Church.

Priscilla is one of the female missionary preachers of the Christian Church but she is not a leader like Apostles Peter and Paul.

Even in some Bible based groups, there are female pastors too.

A Christian woman can help spreading the Gospel but she is forbidden to lead the Christian Church.

Much has to do with how we look at the results of the first century reformation restoring the government of the church and its new ceremonial laws that woman then could be part of the ceremonial activities. It would seem the fifteenth century reformation gets all the attention .

Study the effects that the reformation brought forth. From my experience many disregard it as if it never occurred.

The hair covering for the women , uncovering for the man as one work aspect has been all but made to no effect. We lose that understanding that supports the reformation that elevated a woman to her proper place as member of a Kingdom of priest sent as ambassadors from a City not of this world .One prepared as His bride, the whole church.

The "ruler" and "leader" of the Christian Church is Jesus Christ. No mere man can fill those roles either. See Matthew 23:10. :)

I am talking here is the human leader of the Christian Church in the Bible. I believe Apostles Peter and Paul are leaders of the Christian Church.

Even Bible based groups have human leaders too even they believe that Jesus is the leader of the Christian Church of the Bible.

There is only one leader as the High priest. The rest are ambassadors as priests .One is our Master not seen, in heaven .We are to call no man High Priest of earth.

Nobody said you were unworthy. God has said you are worthy of plenty. Just not to preach inside the church. He gave that command unto a man. Now, let's see, church service is usually held for about an hour each week. One hour out of 168 hours in the week God has asked for women to sit and listen to a man preach the gospel. But no, instead of complying with God's clearly written command, a whole lot of women would rather rebel against that scripture. Now, God allows for the woman to spread His word and glorify Him for the other 167 hours of the week any way she so chooses, but that is not good enough for many of them. They must rebel against God and man and have that other hour as well. Really ? I think it is pretty lame for people to be complaining about this clear command God has put into the scripture. It just goes to show how rebellious many people truly are, when they will sit and constantly argue, instead of simply complying with God's command. One hour to do as God has asked and sit and listen out of 168 hours in the week, but no, that is too much for God to ask of the woman so they rebel and cause all sorts of turmoil and grief. And they claim to love Him so so much, but they refuse to do this very small thing which he has asked. I think instead of yelling and screaming and calling a man all sorts of names for telling them the truth about this, I think they should truly stop and take a closer look at what they are doing themselves. I never once implied that women are any second class human being. I have simply given you the command God has issued Himself. I think it would be wise for all men and all women to simply do as He has asked, in His name, AMEN.

There isn't a single verse in Scripture that prohibits or restricts a woman from preaching inside the church.

That is about the 100th time you have made that false statement calling God a liar. You have been shown the verses many, many times where a woman is not to even speak within the church, period. Still you post your false and ungodly claims. Obviously, when she cannot speak she cannot preach. Are you completely absent of any logic whatsoever ? OR do you just enjoy trolling ?

1 Corinthians 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but [they are commanded] to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

1 Corinthians 14:35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
