Anyone who thinks any country is much better or worse than any other probably isn't paying attention. The whole world is evil-not just a few places.

I honestly think with all the hollywood garbage we produce, all the decadence we have, all the drugs we have, all the abortions we have, all the corruption and the Federal reserve we have, that God is going to bring judgement upon America like he has with all countries whose sin reaches the Heavens. When nations sin in the bible they never last long. Our sin is especially bad because we have so many churches and the Gospel, telling us the way we should live and many become atheists and ignore it.

I'm thinking in the next 10-20 years it will happen. Whether it be an attack by Russia + China, another depression, or something.

Is America Babylon from Rev 17-18?

Is God going to judge America for her sins? Or will she be judged with the rest of the world?

What do you think?
If God will punish the US for leaving the Christian values, I believe the punishment will be He will make it happen that China to be the richest nation on earth.

don't worry, the US will still be the strongest military on earth because God will use the US as counter balance against China once it turned aggressive in the Pacific.

The Babylon in the Bible according to most Bible based groups is Rome and the beast is the Pope.

Actually I don't believe there was any slavery on day 1.
That's some very revisionist history. Slavery existed before America's independence and didn't end until after the Civil War. Some of the people who wrote the constitution owned slaves.

Agreed.

I don't know when. He will judge us. We are guilty as a nation. People cheer and participate homosexual activity/ marriage we murderer our children by the millions, even our "christians", by aborting them! Most of all we deny G-d and the silly allah god we elevate. Let's wrap this up.... homosexuality is no longer a sin, we murder our children while in utero by the millions, and G-d is just some baby born 20000 years ago while allah should be respected..... Oh ya ..... I'm speaking about the Christians!!!!!

Don't know when but as a nation we deserve judgement!!!!!!!

Ugly did not make a false accusation. There was a response that said they hoped God destroyed California first. That is unChristian. Leave it to God what He will/will not do.
That troll is no longer on the site. But thank you anyways.

With all the garbage that is happening, we are in ways literally being witnesses to events that are happening right in front of us.

Isaiah 5:20 describes the world we live in today. Countries more and more have made legal marriage acts that by definition those type of marriage acts are detestable and disgusting.

And the amount of abortions we hear about today, because the parent/s don't want the child? I don't know how easy it is for a parent to get a abortion as each country may differ on this, so cannot comment too much on this. But I do know of these "pro-abortion" movement or whatever other name these people/groups go by.

But what we are seeing today, and we are being witnesses to this, is we are seeing certain types of laws being enacted and enforced, but are not morally right.

The whole world is in trouble today, big time.

God is not going to judge America, God is going to judge the world. The entire affairs of the world do not strictly evolve around America. As to what role America will play in the end times it's hard to say. America is simply another cog in the wheel of destiny of God's ultimate judgement.

I do believe that God will judge America soon. The only reason why he hasn't done anything yet it because of the prayers of the righteous. I know of many people who cry out to God for our country. If people were not praying........he would've been released his judgement.....one preacher said that God has the angels ready for that very moment. They are currently waiting for him to say something and BAM!.....

Soon? What makes you think he didn't start judging us decades ago?

Yes, sadly the world is going more and downhill each day.

The very moral foundations of society is very close to being eliminated, all for the sake of being politically correct, or so people don't discriminate. It is a fair evaluation based on current evidence that many in the world today no longer understand the concept of left and right. It is even fair to say, that one wouldn't be able to teach such a concept without risk of being prosecuted considering the times we live in.

The strange thing is, there are times I think how much more messed up can the world become, and before you know it, there is some act of legislation that passes (doesn't matter the country), that proves the world is becoming more and more messed up.

To keep it short, yes. How do we care for the sick and hungry? Not well enough. $25 million was dumped into a midterm election campaign for one House seat in my state alone while homelessness pervades our cities.

Even 25 million would not solve the homeless problem in your state. A few are homeless by choice, others are mentally ill and prefer the streets rather than being confined in an institution. Yes, there are also those that find themselves homeless due to many types of circumstances. What you have said is equivalent to eating all the food on your plate because there are starving people in Africa. A nice sentiment but changes nothing nevertheless. You would spend more than 25 million to convince all those individual donors to feed and house the homeless instead of financing a political campaign. Even then, that amount of money is a drop in the bucket and the homeless will remain homeless.

I think that's funny Christians keep saying that.

200 years ago, in America, it was okay to dump your baby in the trash -- alive or dead -- just as long as he/she was a newborn.

100 years ago, it was okay for the men to place a chair on the sidewalk to sit all day and drink, and make sure they went home the day their wives got paid for doing laundry to feed their babies, so the man could take her money for the booze.

50 years ago, it was okay to beat your spouse and children. And pedophilia was okay, if you were a priest.

Meanwhile, in Australia and Canada, it was a government-sanctioned plan to eradicate the native population.

How little we understand about "downhill" when we have no reality on history. I admit, the world is full of different kinds of sin today, but it is no more downhill than it used to be. Always been downhill. Just different ways it is accepted.

To keep it simple, where did you ever get the idea the sick and hungry are the government's problems? What are YOU doing for the homeless? (And why do you think there are just homeless in cities?)
