John 14 v.16- Jesus - "i will pray the Father and He will give you another Advocate '

John 14 v.28 Jesus- my Father is greater than I.

oneness is a lie. did Jesus say He would pray to Himself and send Himself back? no.

stop blaspheming studyman. you are mocking the Lord and Savior.
"I and my Father are one".

If the "spirit" got Mary pregnant wouldn't the spirit be Yeshua's Father?

or did the awesome Power of the most high Elohim come upon Mary and create a baby inside her?
some of ya'll need to learn something- we cannot know all about God. you ever read as high as the heavens are above the earth so are His thoughts and ways are higher than ours? you love the O.T. so much, surely you have read this....

Genesis 15:12-17
12 And it came to be, when the sun was going down, and a deep sleep fell upon Abram, that see, a frightening great darkness fell upon him.

13 And He said to Aḇram, “Know for certain that your seed are to be sojourners in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them, and they shall afflict them four hundred years.

14 “But the nation whom they serve I am going to judge, and afterward let them come out with great possessions.

15 “Now as for you, you are to go to your fathers in peace, you are to be buried at a good old age.

16 “Then, in the fourth generation they shall return here, for the crookedness of the Amorites is not yet complete.”

17 And it came to be, when the sun went down and it was dark, that see, a smoking oven and a burning torch passing between those pieces.

Yeshua took the place of Man when sealing the covenant because he knew man would break it.

and he died for us paying the penalty for man breaking the covenant.

Now I'm not denying the fact that there is a (Power of the Father in Heaven) called the spirit or Holy Spirit( Ruach Hako ' desh) in hebrew.
but its the manifestation of the Power of the Creator NOT a separate entity.

As it says in the story of the birth of Jesus the Spirit came upon Mary.
If the spirit is a separate entity the spirit would be Jesus father wouldn't it.
Did Jesus ever say "the spirit my father"

Studyman,

I believe you have again misused the quoting system. there are a lot of words in the quote box attributed to me that I did not write.

Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned thirty and one years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jedidah, the daughter of Adaiah of Boscath.

2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in all the way of David his father, and turned not aside to the right hand or to the left.

3 And it came to pass in the eighteenth year of king Josiah, that the king sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah, the son of Meshullam, the scribe, to the house of the Lord, saying,

4 Go up to Hilkiah the high priest, that he may sum the silver which is brought into the house of the Lord, which the keepers of the door have gathered of the people:

5 And let them deliver it into the hand of the doers of the work, that have the oversight of the house of the Lord: and let them give it to the doers of the work which is in the house of the Lord, to repair the breaches of the house,

6 Unto carpenters, and builders, and masons, and to buy timber and hewn stone to repair the house.

7 Howbeit there was no reckoning made with them of the money that was delivered into their hand, because they dealt faithfully.

8 And Hilkiah the high priest said unto Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the Lord. And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it.

9 And Shaphan the scribe came to the king, and brought the king word again, and said, Thy servants have gathered the money that was found in the house, and have delivered it into the hand of them that do the work, that have the oversight of the house of the Lord.

10 And Shaphan the scribe shewed the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest hath delivered me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king.

11 And it came to pass, when the king had heard the words of the book of the law, that he rent his clothes.

12 And the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Achbor the son of Michaiah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asahiah a servant of the king's, saying,

13 Go ye, enquire of the Lord for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found: for great is the wrath of the Lord that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning us.

14 So Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam, and Achbor, and Shaphan, and Asahiah, went unto Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college;) and they communed with her.

15 And she said unto them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Tell the man that sent you to me,

16 Thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the words of the book which the king of Judah hath read:

17 Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore my wrath shall be kindled against this place, and shall not be quenched.

18 But to the king of Judah which sent you to enquire of the Lord, thus shall ye say to him, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, As touching the words which thou hast heard;

19 Because thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled thyself before the Lord, when thou heardest what I spake against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and hast rent thy clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard thee, saith the Lord.

20 Behold therefore, I will gather thee unto thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered into thy grave in peace; and thine eyes shall not see all the evil which I will bring upon this place. And they brought the king word again.

the point of my post was that if one just quotes scriptures, there is no question.
But if one adds their own commentary, then they are no longer saying "just what the Bible says". I believe that much of what you wrote is essentially a straw man argument, in which a person sets up a fake opponent and then knocks them down.

And it came to pass, that after we were gotten from them, and had launched, we came with a straight course unto Coos, and the day following unto Rhodes, and from thence unto Patara:

2 And finding a ship sailing over unto Phenicia, we went aboard, and set forth.

3 Now when we had discovered Cyprus, we left it on the left hand, and sailed into Syria, and landed at Tyre: for there the ship was to unlade her burden.

4 And finding disciples, we tarried there seven days: who said to Paul through the Spirit, that he should not go up to Jerusalem.

5 And when we had accomplished those days, we departed and went our way; and they all brought us on our way, with wives and children, till we were out of the city: and we kneeled down on the shore, and prayed.

6 And when we had taken our leave one of another, we took ship; and they returned home again.

7 And when we had finished our course from Tyre, we came to Ptolemais, and saluted the brethren, and abode with them one day.

8 And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him.

9 And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.

10 And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judaea a certain prophet, named Agabus.

11 And when he was come unto us, he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.

12 And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem.

13 Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

14 And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.

15 And after those days we took up our carriages, and went up to Jerusalem.

A physical father son relationship is not equal.
God gave us the physical, to see the spiritual things in the family.

-two beings agreeing as one together before time. And [the Word]
was with God- The same was in the beginning [with God]

26And God said, [Let us] make man in our image, after our likeness:
22 Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us...

-the Holy Spirit Is the very Power of God , given to who ever he wants.

15He hath made the earth (by his power), he hath established the world by (his wisdom),
and hath stretched out the heaven by (his understanding).

5I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, (by my great power)
and by my outstretched arm, (and have given it) (unto whom it seemed meet unto me).

- God is greater then Jesus, .

And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom;
and the grace of God was upon Him

"My Father is greater than I" (John 14:28).
“Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered.
“No one is good—except God alone. (mark10:18)

Jesus Christ came to Earth to declare the Father (John 1:18)
Jesus Christ said He came specifically to “reveal” the Father
(Matthew 11:27; Luke 10:22).

“I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him” (John 8:26).

For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me,he gave
me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.(John 12:49)

the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me" (John 14:24).
Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you,

The Son can (do nothing of himself), but what he seeth the Father do:
for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise (John 5:19)

14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

- Bible says God the father is Christs God and father, and our God and father.

but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto (my Father), and your Father;
and to (my God), and your God. (John 20:17 KJV)

and establishing uniform observance of the date of Easter, and other false doctrine.

He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, Shall persecute the saints
of the Most High, And shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall
be given into his hand For a time and times and half a time.
-

34For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God:
(for God giveth) (not the Spirit by measure unto him).

14And Jesus returned in (the power) of the Spirit into Galilee [Luke 4:14)

Behold my servant, whom I uphold; (mine elect), in whom my soul delighteth;
I have put (my spirit) upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

- Jesus called the Son of God, not the son of the holy spirit.

35And the angel answered and said unto her, (The Holy Ghost) shall come upon thee,
and (the power of the Highest) shall overshadow thee: therefore also
that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called (the Son of God).

-God became the Father, the word became the Son. 2 beings

Joh 5:43 I am come in my Father's name,
Joh 10:30 I and my Father are one.

20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through
their word; 21 [That they all may be one]; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that
they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me

I am One who bears witness of Myself, and the Father who sent Me
bears witness of Me.” (John 8:18)

(John 7:29) I (Jesus) know him (GOD), because I am a representative
from him, and that One (GOD) sent me.”

(Matthew 3:17) Look! Also, a voice from the heavens said:
“This is (my Son), the beloved, whom I have approved.

(1 Timothy 2:5) For there is (one God), and (one mediator)
between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus

Colossians 1:19-20 "For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell,
and through him to reconsile to himself all things , wether on Earth or in heaven,
making peace by the blood of his cross."

Matt 3:16-17 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and be-
hold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, And
suddenly a voice came from Heaven saying,“This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased”

25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him,
it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall (the Son)
also himself be subject unto (him) that put all things under him,
that God may be all in all.

Jewish Law, or as it is called now, "Talmud", are not the Commandments of God, but Commandments of men, as Jesus said. It is true that these religious men did try and push their religion, which according to Jesus, "Transgressed the Commandments of God by their own traditions", on to the Gentiles as they did the Jews. This is why James and Peter turned the Gentiles away from the Pharisees and religious leaders from Jerusalem, and towards the Commandments of God in Acts 15.

But it is also important to note that ALL people are required to "repent", and turn to God, even Gentiles. Now the Bible says "turn to God" not turn to religious doctrines created by the Commandments of men, or religious traditions which "transgress the Commandments of God".

This truth seems to get lost sometimes IMO.
You wrote this in response to my comment identifying Judaizers. Are you suggesting that Judaizers were merely trying to force gentile believers to follow Talmudic laws?

If so, your position is incorrect. Circumcision is not of the Talmud, but of the Torah. The Judaizers' primary argument was that gentile believers were to be circumcised, according to the Torah. This has nothing to do with the Talmud.

I agree with you there, even John knowing Yeshua, says we cannot know the awesomeness of Him until we are transformed to be in the same physical state as him. That doesn't mean we can't know the simple things. Like there is a FATHER greater than the Son as you pointed out in a verse earlier. And the simplest way to think of the HOLY spirit is that its a manifestation of the power of the Father. NOT a separate entity. And Yes I do LOVE the O.T. as you call it. I LOVE GODS instruction on how to love him.

DO YOU gb9 NOT Love Gods instructions?

Mohel. A mohel is a Jew trained in the practice of brit milah, the "covenant of circumcision."According to traditional Jewish law, in the absence of a grown free Jewish male expert, anyone who has the required skills is also authorized to perform the circumcision, provided that he or she is Jewish.

The traditional Jewish law is in reference to the Talmud

I have read the O.T. many times through, it is fine, but was for Israel only. the N.T. is for the whole world, as Jesus said in John 3 16.
