When you state your opinion is "the truth", acknowledge that it is merely your opinion, and then double down on it, that is not being sorry. That's being arrogant.

Your position is your opinion. You can't back it up from Scripture; rather, you simply claim that you are one of the rare enlightened ones and that all other "Christians" are deceived. That's being arrogant.

You have forgotten that it is the unsaved who are the majority. Those who have believed in Christ for salvation are... saved. You aren't the judge, and you would do well to stop your recriminations. Judge not, lest you be judged. Take the massive sequoia log out of your own eye so that you can be of some use to the Kingdom of God.
Shes all yours dino..this bantering back n forth is NOT bringing others to Christ and its useless to cast pearls before swine...but i agree with you dino...weve come way off base than the original OP:(

This atitude is not taking responsibiliy :(

Jesus is Lord.

There. A fact we all agree on.

Now for an opinion. All this “discussing” isn’t really edifying anyone.

Just saying.

Carry on.

Jesus is Lord. He is the head and he is coming back soon for his body. His body is of the same spirit, the Holy spirit. All these churches are divided. On one end of the street you have a Baptist church, and on the other end there a Pentecostal church. They are totally different. 1 Cor;3:1-4 1Brothers and sisters, I could not address you as people who live by the Spirit but as people who are still worldly—mere infants in Christ. 2 I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready. 3 You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere humans? 4 For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not mere human beings?

I'm glad you see that because you are suppose to be the true Christians, but you are the ones getting so upset. Besides we are not the ones who bring souls to Christ. John 12: 32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

How do you know Jesus rose on a sunday ? If I showed you He rose before Sabbath sunset would you believe it ? The only proof we have is scripture 1Cor 15v3,4, since there were no witnessess present. Yet we have churches proclaiming He was seen on the sunday....well AFTER His resurrection. It begs the question if their claim is fraudulent ? or perhaps just mis-judged ?

Technically, He could have resurrected the moment they sealed His burial tomb. We do however know when Palm Sunday is (Hebrew/Jewish Tradition), and we know it was the following Friday that He was crucified. He even claimed in three days He would rise from His death. If we take Him at His word knowing He is God, three days brings us to Sunday, exactly one week after Palm Sunday.

one thing I've learned. the more I spend time with the Lord, the more HE molds me to His heart. we can post, post, and post some more of what "christians should/shouldn't do," but the Holy Spirit is the one who opens our eyes and leads us.

I'm not a lesser/better believer because I attend a local fellowship and meet on Sundays. I'm not less/more saved. I'm washed in the same blood of Jesus as those who believe we should gather on Saturday. Those who gather on Saturdays aren't lesser/better believers. heck, Einstein said, "before God, we are all equally wise... and equally foolish." lol!

Jesus said it all comes down to this:
1) loving God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength
2) loving our neighbor as we love ourselves

And you, having divided yourself from the others... how exactly are you avoiding the same judgment?

Paul was speaking to the churches that he was familiar with and not outlining the condition of the church in general, both then and now.

I'm apart of the body of Christ, without the church covering. It's scary to come out of the church, because then you have depend on Jesus and him alone.

If you are a part of the body of Christ, you are a part of the Church. You cannot be one and not the other.

If you are apart from the body of Christ, you are apart from the Church.

You might want to proofread your posts; "apart of" is not correct grammar. :)

It doesn't matter what you call it; the two are the same thing. You are either in or out.

If you personally choose not to submit yourself to any local eldership, that's your decision, even though it is indefensible scripturally.

Your broadbrushed denigration of the local church, and of those who are part of a local fellowship, is baseless, wrongheaded and needs to stop. If you have specific criticisms of a specific local body, by all means take those criticisms to the leaders of that local body. Otherwise, just stay away and stop griping. Since you consider yourself so wise and learned, put all that God-given grace and energy into building the Kingdom, rather than tearing it down.

I have heard people say I belong to the church of Christ , we do it that way, another say well I belong to the Baptist church come visit us because we do it this way.

They were starting their own churches, and leaving the one that Paul had preached to them.
