Hey Everyone!

While I haven't been here as much as I used to be, when trying to catch up on threads, I've noticed that several people have unique titles under their usernames that seem to describe them perfectly ("Daughter of the King", "The Thingy Member", etc.)

Admittedly, I'm a bit jealous of one particular person who has been appointed the envious title of "Notorious Member", because I've been working my tail off for a considerable amount of time in order to cause trouble whenever I could here... And yet, my title is just a generic, "Senior Member." :mad:

In an attempt to try to fit in with this current CC "it" crowd :LOL:, I have promptly added, "The Original CC Troll" to my user profile, but after thinking twice about it, I didn't want any new members to somehow get the impression that trolling is allowed or tolerated on this site.

Rather, my definition of "trolling" is to write unspeakably long posts :cool:, continuously flood the Singles forum with ridiculously long-winded threads, and making incredibly bad puns wherever I venture within the site. :sneaky:

Still, I can't help but wonder I must do in order to get my OWN special title. :cry:

And what about the rest of you?

What would YOU choose as your own personalized, fancy schmancy description under your name?

(Side note--why does the spell-checker keep balking at the use of the word "schmancy"... To me, that's just an everyday word! :LOL:)

The custom user title is one of the "perks" that comes with paid subscriptions.

Once the subscription is paid for, how do we access this perk? :)

I updated mine a few nights ago but when I went into my account settings, I didn't see any option to put in a title, so I must have overlooked the prompt. :(

Send RoboOp a request. All custom user names are input from the Admin side of things.

I'm hoping that if anyone IS brave enough to suggest a title for themselves, it will fall within respectable guidelines for this site. :confused:

And, to tell the honest truth... I'm a little torn as to what I would choose myself. :D

This might take a little while. :unsure:

Great thread!

For my custom title, I would have to use "Folksy yet erudite." Somebody once on a forum long, long ago in a galaxy far, far away observed I am a country hillbilly from Tennessee (and it shows) but I also use what other people call big words and I have a preference for good quality products, especially comestibles. He said I was "folksy yet erudite, like a combination of beaux arts and banjos."

By the way are we limited to what titles we would like for ourselves, or can we suggest some titles for other users as well? I got a few ideas... :giggle:

Absolutely, as long as it's nothing mean-spirited.

I could use a few suggestions myself. I have a personal favorite, but it might be better to keep to myself.

I'm trying to think of something that will somehow reference writing threads (since it's kinda my thing), but yet somehow topping Tommy's "Notorious" reputation.

After all, I can't have people thinking I'm some sort of goody two-shoes. :mad:

Country hillbillies from Tennessee are living in high cotton compared to hillbillies from Alabama.😁

I'm thinking the word excessive could fit in there. Deluging the forums with excessive verbosity probably doesn't quite work but it might get some other gears turning for people
