I've been a member here at Christian Chat for just a short time. I find it to be one of the better designed sites--and I've been on a lot of sites! I find that the moderators are fair and very active behind the scenes making sure that we have a safe playground. Maybe some of them even post as regular Joes and only grab their Mod Hat when they need to step into the phone booth and put on their Superman garb.

If I had one area of disappointment with the site it is that it is so large! But then, that is being a victim of their own success. As a result, threads that we post can find themselves relegated to one of those pages that no one ever bothers to click on any longer and the thread becomes lost in the vast Ethernet of the internet universe.

To that end, I will create a Topic page for my threads containing their links and every time I post something that I consider a 'study' I will add the link to this page which will bump it to the top. This way, if any one is looking for a specific topic that might have posted at some time, they can check this thread to see if the item of interest might have been dealt with.

Plus, the Mods don't look kindly on the practice of people continually bumping their own threads merely so they stay "current".

This is an attempt to see that I don't need to bump my threads. And I am not actually bumping it by posting a legitimate link. Anyway, this has worked well for me on other sites of this nature.

As has been said, this thread will just fall to the back pages, just like every other thread does when no one posts on it.. You'd be better off just putting a link to them in your signature..

I like your posts BaptistBibleBeliever we are on the same page in a lot of issues.
I think the only place we differ is eschatology. (end times) and even that can be resolved as my position is STILL not locked in.

The issues of the two raptures lays it out pretty plain. Some would begin their eschatology in Revelation chapter six, but we clearly need to begin with chapter 4.

If you can go to a member's profile page you have the option of searching all content posted and all threads created so what you propose may be a bit redundant. Each thread listed contains the number of replies and views regarding interest.

Two raptures? what do you mean? I cant even find one rapture in Revelation. The Revelation 4:1 mentions no resurrection its just John really, I understand it could be typology, but COULD.

If there is a verse you know of where the church is in heaven BEFORE the tribulation let me know

Hey Nehemiah bro. Could you help me resolve an apparent contradiction here:

At the second coming:

Zechriah 14:16 some people of the nations who attack Jerusalem live
2 Thess 1:6-8 all who dont obey the gospel are destroyed.

How do we reconcile this? The only idea I can come up with is that those in ZEchariah 14:16 are not unbelievers, the text doesnt say they are and perhaps they didnt attack Jerusalem, they were only of those nations. Example: Egypt attacks, but not ALL egyptians attack, some egyptians are saved, but nationally still considered egyptians.

What is your answer?

There's no contradiction here. If you reverse the order of the passages, 2 Thess 1:6-8 is a reference to the second coming of Christ and the destruction of the wicked at the battle of Armageddon (those who come against Jerusalem).

Now, not every person from every nation will be present at this battle, so we have "every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem". They will go into the Millennium and be ruled with *a rod of iron* . So Zech 14:16-19 is a reference to the Millennium, which is AFTER the second coming, but there are still people who are rebellious under Christ.

And that is at the time when Christ has established His Kingdom on earth, and redeemed and restored Jerusalem and Israel as shown here: In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD'S house shall be like the bowls before the altar. Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts. (Zech 14:20-21)

One more thing: Can you tell me if you believe those that are left of all the nations that went against Jerusalem were SAVED or UNSAVED people? I believe most likely saved, since saved people enter the millennium.
