Just sort of asking, reminding, hoping, praying it will be back.... :sneaky:

Me too, long with the friends list and the rep power system. We can all start at zero rep and take it from there. Also would like to go back to the square avatar instead of the round. Also, as before, under each post list the number of posts and the full date of joining instead of the abbreviated date. Also, make it easier like before to multi-quote. I guess that I just miss the old format but I am now accustomed to the new format. I like the reaction icons but the trophies should be eliminated as you can only accumulate 113 and a lot of members reached that number within an hour into the new format. I also liked the option of customizing your profile page, now they all look the same.

Things aren't as easy as they used to be.

They'll probably need extra colors for varying degrees of uncertainty.

Our rep points are still here. You just have to hover over your name with the mouse and it's on the far right. :) It was better when everyone could see it though, along with that green light bar we used to have showing our rep power. Now everyone looks the same as a newb. (unless they check out your info) Post count used to be under our names too. People knew right away who the old timers in the forum were.

Ok... so I just found out someone I assumed was 20 something is actually only 13. How did I find out? Because they wanted to know if they were the youngest one on here. It's not really a problem but I'd really like to know if I'm reading something written by an adult or a child..... Remember when everyone's ages were shown right under their name? Yea that.....

Also.... I've forgotten whether a couple of regular, but new-ish posters are male or female and I don't feel like I should have to open their profiles to figure it out. Just sayin...

Yes. Age and sex should be requirement.

You could actually be finding yourself in an inappropriate conversation with someone you thought was a 30 yr old guy, and it turns out to be a 14 yr old girl. I don't understand why the site thought that wasn't necessary.

Just so y'all know that these suggestions aren't ignored. Bringing back the colored user names is something that is on RoboOp's radar but apparently this new system we are running on doesn't have that available as a built in option in which case he will need to modify the package coding to make it happen.

Unfortunately that means that it may take some time since a lot of software like this isn't "friendly" to custom modifications.

Facebook has 71 gender options, and it may eventually go up to millions.

Robo should create a script to add new genders weekly as needed.

Just trying to help.

Perhaps adding a “M” or “F” after ones user/customised title.

For example mine, “Daughter of the True King • F”.

You probably can add their age too but of course over time it would have to be updated because of peoples birthdays.

Just a suggestion:)

Is that true?

Then I want to create my very own personal gender: The G72!

Gender #72 is the perfection of all the previous 71 genders. It’s attractive, sweet, slim, ginger, multilingual, but its native language is English, with a soft, lower Alabama accent.

Apply for your G72 membership today and get a $5 discount.

Don’t hesitate, rumor has it that the G73 is a raccoon pitchin’ a fit.

On Facebook you can be a male or female...
or one of the other 69 possible options.

But I don't think you have to make that info public...
so everyone still has to just guess.

If letting strangers "guess" at your gender is still what it all boils down,
then sticking with 2 genders would seem to give everyone way better odds.

:)

Create a Male or Female distinction. If you can't fit yourself in one of those categories, why would I want to talk to you?
