What does sanctification have to do with salvation?

We see initial sanctification in which we are set apart/made holy in standing before God positionally in Christ. 1 Corinthians 6:11 - Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 1:2 - To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus..

Yet we also see progressive or ongoing sanctification in which the reality of that holiness becomes more and more evident in our actions, words, thoughts, attitudes, and motives. 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4, - For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor.

So becoming washed, sanctified and justified in Christ is a one time event, yet abstaining from sexual immorality is not a one time event. Here is how I understand it. The believer possess a positional, judicial standing of righteousness in Christ and, second, an ongoing process of growth in practical, progressive holiness which becomes increasingly evident in our actions, words, thoughts, attitudes, and motives.

How does the Holy Spirit keep us washed, sanctified and justified daily? Also, how do Believers receive GRACE?

Producing fruit is the result of being saved.

Not a way to become saved.

Justification is by faith, Whoever believes is sealed by the spirit UNTIL the day of redemption. Jesus said in john 6, they will never hunger or thirst, Never die, Live forever, and have eternal life. He even went as far as to promise them they WILL be ressurected (as apposed to being delivered)

Your trying to MIX christian growth with justification. Every passage you give concerns christian growth, Not salvation.

The food which endures forever, YOU EAT ONCE< and IT WILL NEVER DIE< thus YOU WILL NEVER DIE.

IT IS THE SPIRIT WHO GIVES LIFE, the WORDS I SPEAK are SPIRIT AND THEY ARE LIFE

It is called FAITH IN THE WORDS the SPIRIT GAVE, or FAITH IN CHRIST

The ones who did not eat this food did what? UNBELIEF

He who believes is NOT CONDEMNED

He who DOES NOT BELIEVE is CONDEMNED ALREADY

Its not working, It is not becoming sanctified. It is not trying to maintain your salvation (as your trying to push)

It is eating the food which endures forever (the gospel)



If you have to maintain your salvation, It means the food can die.. Which means that food is NOT FROM GOD.
