Anyone else from the valley of the sun? There are lots of interesting things that happen here: especially the heat.

But there are other things too! 😁😁

Are you by and have you heard of Mt Graham there? I'm in CA but I read the Catholics (higher ups) have a high powered telescope there called LUCIFER, and are awaiting 'aliens'. They think this is a big deal.

HAHAHA no I have not. 🤣🤣🤣 Apparently the whole Sedona area is a bunch of hippies so I know we have some interesting characters.

What’s that thing they call it? The...vortex??? I think???? I dunno.

From what I understand, the actual name of the telescope isn't Lucifer, that's just a nickname given to it.
Nice.
Also, that telescope is supposedly owned by a university and jointly used by different organizations.

However, the RCC does own observatories (an odd thing for a religious institution in the modern era) and they have also said some pretty disturbing things about alien life and extraterrestrial visitors.

Even if the RCC does not actually own a telescope named Lucifer... the RCC still does some pretty weird things.

Yes, I've been to AZ and it has it's own special beauty. Re Mt Graham, it certainly has some interesting stipulations about the goings on there. God bless.

" Arizona was home for two decades, from 1990 to 2010. Lived in Mesa, Apache Junction and
after retiring we were full time RVing and went to Show Low, but winter was too much so
moved to Payson. Been to Grand Canyon a few times but the Superstition Mountains was
very interesting as we camped there for couple of weeks, it is an awesome must see.
First year in Arizona, was 122 degrees in the shade, yeow! 1200px-Superstitionmountain.jpg

"Personally met and talked to Ralph Holder, the author of 'Mistic Memories of the Superstition Mountains'.
An intriguing experience of a lifetime. Also while spending time there, witnessed the 'lights over Phoenix'
and that, even while typing this, gives me a tingling feeling, absolutely unbelievable!
My 'journey' began in 1995, at the foothills of this awesome place, a life changing experience!
And, there is no explanation that would suffice, it has to be lived."
'Praise God'

I was just in Tucson over the past week visiting family over the 4th...
Took my kids to tube the Salt River (in Mesa) this past Friday and watched a Dust-Devil (mini-Tornado) skip across the water from one side of the river to the other... was an amazing sight...

Oh wow, that is so cool (wrong choice of words for Tucson, lol). Seriously though, it sounds like you and your crew had a great time. Our sunsets are pretty amazing.

Oh wow, really?! Small world indeed. What a special time it is to reunite with family. How fun to be together again. I bet lots of laughter ensued.
