Didn’t God gave Adam free will as a man... “ IF YOU EAT OF THIS TREE...”. And he chose to eat from the tree knowing the consequence... Both he and his wife. I never read the snake was asked for a confession.. so maybe God disguised himself to see what man would do... besides. God was wrapped in a coat of skin with Jesus. And they knew him not. Sounds like a fleshly disguise to me. Now What shall God do with us ? As he knows all things.

Wind, I use my understanding of the verses that says...God Does NOT lie. Disguise, for whatever purpose, is a form of deception.

I too believe he knew what Adam would do... therefore he sent the serpent. Deception is an act... a disguise is a disguise. Which one of you asks for bread and God gives you a stone. The Rod turned into a serpent and then back to a rod. God can be anything. A man.. a storm. A bird. A lion. What do you mean?
