True. The only time anything like wine touched the lips of our Lord was on the cross. Wine, vinegar and hyssop were soaked into a sponge and raised to His lips after Jesus spoke of His thirst. After it touched His lips He said, it is finished.
No, that isn't scripture. We shouldn't become drunken with spirits, but we are not prohibited from imbibing.

Jesus clearly turned ceremonial water used for cleaning into the best wine at the wedding, and was criticized for it! This holiness stance some people take is exaggerated. We should not drink wine or strong drink in front of those offended by, or it is a stumbling block to but there is no sin in and of itself.
I make no secret of the fact that I have an allergy that causes a phenomena of craving that can be caused by the ingestion of alcohol in any form... It is diagnosed as alcoholism. I am no longer a drunkard! I choose not to imbibe in order to avoid my own sinfully nature and to prevent relapse aka; backsliding. Not everybody has this problem so; I won't put everybody in the same boat.

A dear friend is allergic to alcohol. He found out that his blood heritage made him predisposed to alcoholism due to what you describe, a craving for the sugars in fermented drink. Their chromosomes 4 and 11 produce less quantity of dehydrogenase (ADH), the enzyme that converts ethanol, alcohol, into acetaldehyde, which is acetic alcohol and water, once the enzyme "ALDH2" or, acetaldehyde dehydrogenase starts the finishing work of making the acetic alcohol, sugar, and water. The less ADH and ALDH2 one has the slower the metabolism process takes. Consequently the body is exposed for longer periods of time to the alcohol properties themselves prior to full conversion. The more your body holds the acetaldehyde in that stage two process, because it takes longer to get there due to the lesser quantity of ADH, which makes that hormone's processing the alcohol slower, the sicker you can get.
One way to find out if you're allergic to alcohol, this is for anyone reading who may be curious, I know you're aware by now, is if you start to flush red shortly after drinking hard alcohol and begin to sneeze. That's the sign you should not be drinking because your body is having an adverse reaction.
My friend's heritage is Asian and native American. Both lines have depleted ADH and ALDH2, in most cases. Not all. This isn't a blanket diagnosis for all Asian culture and native tribes.

That's the sign you should not be drinking because your body is having an adverse reaction.

Women can be predisposed to drinking to excess too and this during the time before menstruation, or the PMS cycle that can occur prior to menstruation itself. They don't have to have the depleted hormones mentioned prior, their body just craves sugar and alcohol has plenty of that.
When I was in my 20's I wasn't regular in my monthly but I knew when it was there because I walked into the bakery section of a grocery and thought to myself, all I need is a fork, a credit card, and time, and I can finish off at least the left side of the display.
I was so proud of myself. I left without buying even one little cheesecake treat for myself. Which I would have consumed in the car.
Fork? Me don't need no stinking fork.

Its not the length of hair but hair itself . It is used as a metaphor to represent the unseen glory of God. Woman as the glory of man were not left without a representative glory of their own. It must be covered or shaven to show they had no faith that alone comes from hearing the gospel. Working together with the uncovered head or hair of men. It provide one outward demonstration of the two in respect of the upcoming wedding supper in the new heavens and earth . A sign for the angels who long to look into salvation seeing they are not subject to it. This is where and when in the twinkling of the eye. . the two literally become one new creature as a bride. Christ's wife.
He went and lived in a town called Nazareth.
So was fulfilled what was said through the prophets,
that He would be called a Nazarene.

John the Baptist was to be a Nazarite, as we learn when we read The Book of Luke chapter 1:15 for he will be great before the Lord. And he must not drink wine or strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb. 16 And he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God, 17 and he will go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready for the Lord a people prepared.
When Elizabeth, John's mother, was greeted by her cousin Mary, who was pregnant with Jesus, John is said to have lept in Elizabeth's womb. What if Jesus was also to take the Nazarite vow that John was prophesied to assume in Luke 1?
It would make sense since John's mission was to ready the way for Messiah.
