No, I phrased it correctly. This isn't about God at all, it's been all about you, your faith. You.

It is always about you; maintaining salvation, your faith being superior to others &c.

That's my point, nearly everything you post is self-glorifying. Top that off with your snide response to Dave L which further proves your un-Christ like persona. You should apologize to him for your unwarranted comments meant to insult him. Careful, you may lose "your" salvation.
You falsely slander me. Nearly everything I post is scripture, which offends you @preacher4truth . You need to ask why this offends you?

Go raise some dead folks and prove you have the same gifts as the apostles and those they laid hands on.
I did not say I have all the gifts the apostles did. I say it is up to the Spirit to give these gifts as He wills because the Bible teaches this. You have a problem accepting this teaching of scripture.

And my response to Dave on the gifts is the very thing Dave is preaching. Dave posits that the Gifts are no longer in operation. So then if Dave believes the Gifts are no longer in operation then FOR DAVE the gifts are NO longer in operation. They can only operate by faith and since Dave has no faith in their operation they do not exist for him.

But hey, you want to jump into this conversation that isn't directed to you. And you get offended by my straightforward response to your original question, then lie about my response. Not very nice of you @preacher4truth .

They were exactly the same. Today's "gifts" are nothing like the originals.

You don't know my faith history. And judging me based on personal dislikes and ignorance places you in a bad position according to Jesus.

John 14
12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

Dave, the issue being addressed here is I and most on this forum take these words above literally, and believe Jesus means it for all who would believe in Him. Not just for a sliver of time after Jesus left.
You have also heard testimony from others here of miracles witnesses by them personally, but you reject their first hand accounts of these miracles. I have personally been involved in Exorcisms and seen the effect of demons leaving and changed lives. But you will not believe us. Who is really judging who here?

I do not claim to gave all the gifts of the Spirit. You changed the subject. The same gifts are in operation today. Some arenot as common.

The Corinthian list is what the Apostles had and distributed through their hands. The same as Philip the Evangelist who they laid hands on and he did Apostle level works but could not give it to others.

Faith is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. Not a decision of the flesh. Miracles are all hearsay today. The prayer of faith heals but most are claiming to perform the works only an Apostle could.

No doubt there are charlatans in the church today, who claim miracles, but which haven't occurred. But this in no way takes away from the fact that miracles DO occur. You throw the baby out with the bathwater....as the saying goes.

The prayer of faith does many things the gifts used to. More than most are aware of because of having a skewed theology. But the gifts are long gone.

Do you believe that Jesus' words in John 14v12 are no longer applicable ?

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me [not just Apostles, but every believer] , the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father (John. 14:12)

Because of our union with Christ, his works become our works. And the greater works he now performs ruling the nations of the world and all of nature, we share in by virtue of our being his body.

and He raised us up and seated us together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:6–7

Spiritual man is only 2 nation

Godly spirit nation wich protect by God where satan not able to decieve anymore or satan spirit nation that allready been deceived and No reason for satan to deceived them again.

I posted a new thread on the Millennium as a Pharisee doctrine. It's waiting approval. Maybe we can pick it up there in a while.

Faith is a gift. Not a mind set.
People brain dead or near brain dead can not serve God.

David did his exploits by faith. He exercised faith after he got anointed by samuel.

The key is in the anointing. Not baptist theory formulas.

After the anointing we recieve power. Faith comes in measure. Under the anointing faith rises.
Jesus told them to tary in Jerusalem to recieve the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.

Jesus said in essence "dont try ministry or a walk like mine without the Baptism in the Holy Spirit."

Jesus said "they will speak in tongues and cast out demons"
W h o? The 12?
Nope "they that believe"

ANYBODY SAVRD CAN GO TO THE UPPER ROOM.

What you are doing is disagreeing with Jesus.

"If yo being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, HOW MUCH MORE WILL THE FATHER GIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT to those that ask"

What??
It was to anybody?
Yep

I already addressed your logical fallacy with regard to your claims about Philip. You marked "Informative" on it, which means you read it (I hope), yet here you are repeating it.

smh...
