Please also remember this ISRAEL is MY SON
“You must say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says the LORD, “Israel is my son, my firstborn, and I said to you, ‘Let my son go that he may serve me,’ but since you have refused to let him go, I will surely kill your son, your firstborn!” ’ ”” (Exodus 4:22–23) (NET)

When Israel was a young man, I loved him like a son, and I summoned my son out of Egypt.” (Hosea 11:1) (NET)

“He stayed there until Herod died. In this way what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet was fulfilled: “I called my Son out of Egypt.”” (Matthew 2:15) (NET)

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV 1900)

I don´t agree with this comment. HE is already building HIS CHURCH...now
When Crossnote quoted Jesus saying "I will build My church" (Matthew 16:18).....he was pointing out the fact that Jesus had not started building it yet. Its one of many verses that show us that the Church (Bride of Christ) was "hidden from the past generations" but is now born and active. Jesus started the church shortly after He said "I will build My church".

You made a comment: "Peter wasn't the rock, it was the statement Peter made". You are absolutely right!
The statement Peter made="You are the Christ, the Son of the living God" is the rock (foundation) on which Jesus would build His church.
The name of Jesus (as the Christ and the Son of God) was not yet publicly known. So the church could not have existed yet because Jesus had not spread that message (that He is the Christ) yet. Do you see what I'm saying?

You need to submit to scripture.

“This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:” Acts 7:38 (KJV 1900)
Israel = THE SON, who is building HIS FATHERŚ HOUSE = THE CHURCH, and will present back to HIS FATHER, HIS BRIDE, who are gathered up in HIS BODY, of which HE is both THE FOUNDATION and HEAD of THE BODY...which again, is HIS CHURCH/HIS BODY/HIS BRIDE

Why? because Dispies cannot discern the spiritual kingdom and walk by sight thinking the kingdom is physical and future. = they don't have to deal with it. That's why they exist. Just like the Pharisees don't have to deal with it and killed Christ because he said it was here and they couldn't see it.
“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3 (KJV 1900)
Except a man be born again...what does this mean, Dave?

It's the spiritual battle against the church coming from the overwhelming amount of false doctrine now present (since the 1800s) and the world since that time. This based on the imminent return of Christ.
Did you ever compare John 5 with Revelation 20?

You might notice that certain people were raised to reign.(those who had a part in the FIRST RESURRECTION)..and the rest of the dead did not rise again until after the 1000 year reign.

It is written, blessed are those who have a part in the First Resurrection...
What does this mean?

The New Birth is the first Resurrection begun in time, complete in the first of two resurrections on the last day according to Paul and Jesus.

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:14 (KJV 1900)

“But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:10 (KJV 1900)

“For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:11 (KJV 1900)

etc., etc.

Who are the two people you mention...
Jerry Falwell and other Dispensationalists say God has the Church and the Jews who are saved in different ways. I'm not well versed on this yet so I suggest a search of the topic on the internet.

No you are not well versed because that is not what mainstream dispensationalists believe.
Dual Covenant theology is an aberration of biblical faith.

‘ Classic Dispensationalism so separated these two peoples of God that, during the millennium and even in the final state, there will be a spiritual people of God in heaven and an earthly people upon the earth. This has been modified in the revised Dispensationalism represented by the New Scofield Reference Bible, and abandoned altogether by progressive Dispensationalism.

My point was bringing up the concept of a dual covenant shows your gross ignorance of Dispensational thought as you admitted in post #93.

Why the insults? Why not post your position so all can judge for themselves.

Seems to me you’re the one who initializes attacks on dispies, even when they are minding their own business. You seem to be obsessed with the topic. And no, I’m not going to play the ‘gotcha’ game.

Begun only because CHRIST, to those who believe, are baptized into HIM and are raised up to NEW LIFE in HJIM, born of HIS life-giving SPIRIT...this is why HE said, right before HE raised Lazarus, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.

Those who believe now, who have heard HIS VOICE now, have a part in the FIRST RESURRECTION...

By the way, all of GOD´s WORD was a picture and a prophecy and a puzzle pointing us to CHRIST

You refer to the first Passover...but this is a picture of sacrifice and redemption,.. GOD knows in our limited humanity we require signs and symbols to understand what is spiritual and hidden...

GOD, by sacrifice, takes out from egypt, out from the sons of pharoah, and brings into Israel, the sons of GOD, a people who would be called by HIS NAME
