I'm different from you. I wake in the afternoon as an ambassador for the Lord Christ, and ask what do you want to do today?
That's cool, and I didn't catch the vibe when I read the OP, but now that the guy kind of pointed out the "=" to God feel in your words I see you carried that right over to this comment too.

When I wake up with God I ask Him, "what do you have for me to do today?", that's just the way I see it, but your comment seems to make you kind of co-equal with God too weirdly enough. As if you have some kind of say in what happens on any day. Now please keep this in context and know I see this comment as a very small thing, you could have meant it 100 different ways, I am not trying to accuse or condemn at all here at all, I noticed this and thought that might be worth at least looking at. Anyway I hope you have a good day. :)

John says is best? "a man cannot receive anything unless it is given him from heaven"
the difference between being a child of God and being God is life and death. the serpent said you can be God, Jesus says you can be a child of God through grace. one is ugly the other is beautiful.

It's not how to get Christ to live within our natural realm, because the things of the spirit cannot enter the things of the flesh, and be subject to the obedience of the natural realm. But to let Christ live within, by letting our spiritually renewed mind into his spiritual world, and letting his spiritual faith function within our natural world.
This gives the impression that we ‘allow’ God as if we were His master. Rather, He is Lord and we come on bended knee to His throne of mercy and grace. Our walk is a privilege, not a right.

We do not agree. I think what you're saying is we are sinners saved by grace.

I'm an ambassador for the Lord Christ. Does the ambassador represent the one he serves so he can ask what his boss is going to do. Or does he represent himself where he asks himself what he's going to do.

I was basically making the point that Jesus is Lord and not us.
It's unheard of that the servants 'allow' or 'let' their King do such and such. That is backwards and I'm sorry you do not agree.

Do I follow him by letting him go first in what he wants to do on any given day? Or do I follow myself because I'm not the Lord?

We follow Him because He is the Shepherd and we are His sheep who hear and know His voice. A good Shepherd leads His sheep in that manner.

John 10:27 (KJV) My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

What????o_O I just say it plainly like this. "I ask my Lord what He wants me to do", but would pray in reality more like this-

"Jesus thank you for everything. I pray that you lead me by Your Spirit today. That you might give me the strength to battle the things in life that seem to temp me daily outside of your power, so please guide me Lord, by Your power, through You Spirit, and for Your glory today. Let the words I speak be truth and my deeds represent you well, but most of all Lord help me when no eyes are looking. Help me to turn to you when the spirits You warn about try to creep in, Lord I pray that You are glorified through a wretch like me, as an undeniable testament of Your power to change men. Amen"

Or something along those lines anyway. I hope that builds a little bit bigger idea of what I mean by who is in control and my purpose on this earth. I am still in shock He saves people like me and empowers us to desire to live in a way the pleases Him. Just unbelievable what our King did for us so we might be reconciled to our Creator.

I don't pray the way you do. Ephesians tells me I'm already strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man. So I don't have to pray for it.

Are you claiming since you have been saved you have become essential with God?

Therefore, what decisions you make today were the decisions God has already given to you to make? This is why there is no need to ask for His direction/help?

As a human being, you do stumble on occasion. Is there no need to say forgive me since that has already been covered once?

If so, how many acts of sin can we commit before it hardens our perspective and we take it for grant it based on a "License to Sin?"

Jesus prayed on a regular basis. But you don't have to.

For the rest of us :

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Ephesians 6:18

Jesus prayed for strength in the Garden before his crucifixion. But not you. No siree. You don't have to pray for strength.

You are forcing meaning into scripture that is not there. You mistakenly state that Ephesians 3:16 is a done deal.

14... for this reason I bow my knees before the Father,d 15from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16I ask that out of the riches of His glory He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, 17so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. Then you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18will have power, together with all the saints, to comprehend the length and width and height and depth 19of the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

20Now to Him who is able to do so much more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, 21to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

So why did Paul pray the above for the Ephesians if they were all already where you seem to think you are?

It is this type of error that bogs down new Christians and creates resentment and even despair when people cannot understand why they do not have this 'gift' of instant perfection. I suppose you move mountains into the sea also.

I don't have a sin nature. How shall we that are dead to sin live any longer therein?

We are joint-heirs, not biological heirs to God. This is why we have an ADVOCATE to be the "Reminder" we are covered in His Blood. If we were literally sinless, there would be no need for an Advocate. Each time we sin, the Adversary runs to God to announce our sin. This is where the Advocate steps in for us like our Defense Attorney.

The Advocate is a special step in the process to ensure our Righteousness through Christ.

If we were sinless, then Christ is wasting His time as our Advocate.

By your reasoning, Christ is wasting His time, even though, this was His plan for us to ensure our Righteousness.

Do you believe Christ is wasting His time as Your/My Advocate?

That is a nonsensical reply. What was Paul doing? Do you think you can possibly learn something from him? The word tells us to be continually filled with the Spirit. Not a one time thing. Does that help a little?

Hmmm, sounds like word of faith, law of attraction, New Apostolic Reformation, Dominion Theology, etc..............

We are in Christ and the Spirit dwells in us, but we are NOT divine. To have any divinity would be to make us equal with God.

Satan wanted to be like God and that's also the lie that brought about the fall of mankind.

:cautious:
He did not say any of that did he? Are you just tr

Paul prayed that for the Ephesians. So why wouldn't we pray it for ourselves and others. We pray this because it is a journey. We grow more and more in this. We don't just say We have it and do not have to ask for it more an more. If we do not thing we need more of it we probably have very little of it.

14For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
