Unfortunately for your ambition, although I have seen some pair up on this forum, I have never seen anybody find a partner when they come here looking for one.

Welcome Syndney. There are some good people around here and many of us have made some good friends through this site that help us have a sanity check on all things related to single living. And then there are a few quality married people around who help us keep it real in our expectations of happily ever after (that also means that not everyone who posts in the singles forum should automatically be assumed to be single). But mostly we talk about food and all the other stuff that people who actually live with other people talk about in real life (this has led to some of the more snooty types from other forums saying that we're not Christian enough since we don't talk about serious religious things all day every day). And we run the gambit of dating styles and philosophies from: nope just not for me to I have no clue how to get started dating, to stop making it so complicated and just ask that person you're interested in out to wait for God to specifically reveal to you that someone is his chosen spouse for you. One thing we all like to remind each other of though is that it's better to be single than in a bad relationship.
