I believe that this thread will be edifying to people who have just arrived.

If you don't like what is posted, then don't read what is in the thread a second time.

If you are a moderator, then of course I might have to comply with you if it has been made to be against the rules to bump threads up. But I think that it will be a sad day because this document is very beneficial to those who can understand it and if I am not allowed to bump it up then people will be missing out on what it has to offer.
Your thread isn't Scripture; let it thrive or die on its own merit, not that which you happen to ascribe to it. If you keep bumping it, you are only demonstrating that you hold your own ideas of "edifying" important enough to impose on others.

Much of the thread is indeed backed by holy scripture; and the whole of it is based on scriptural principles.

Good that you are sleeping now, @Dino246.

It means that you will not be able to express dislike for my posts in which I bump up what is edifying.

As are many threads posted here. This one isn’t special.
Not commenting on the bumping.

But I have to admit...this OP is especially full of Scripture, at virtually every point, and more than the average post.
It does stand out in that sense.

What you are not seeing is that the thread has merit even if it isn't controversial enough to draw out many responses so that it would remain in the forefront apart from my "bumping it up".

Glad you're sleeping, @Dino246.

I would encourage you, however, to watch and wait for His return (Mark 13:32-37).

I notice that you think that the doctrine of the Lord's return is old, @Dino246.

I would encourage you to understand the spiritual danger that you are in because of this.

Mat 24:48, But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
Mat 24:49, And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
Mat 24:50, The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
Mat 24:51, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Luk 12:45, But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;
Luk 12:46, The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.

3 If I fail to obey the law, I am not condemned—but because I am not condemned—because I am born of God—1 John 3:9—I will not fail to obey the law.
this doesn't follow; it's a false statement.
just because a man is forgiven doesn't mean he will never have anything to be forgiven of again.

proof:

Then came Peter to Him, and said,
Master, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I shall forgive him? Unto seven times?
Jesus said unto him,
I say not to thee, unto seven times, but, unto seventy times seven times.
(Matthew 18:20-21 1599 GNV)
if a person having been forgiven no longer sins simply by the fact of their offense having been removed, then the answer to Peter's question would be 'one time only, and afterwards he will be perfect'
