I find that Christian Fundamentalists are more hated by worldly people than most other types of Christian.
And, this says something to me about the validity of their position (see John 15:18-25).
You are wrong. The Ku Klux Klan and the 'Southern Bible Belt' were overwhelmingly of the Christian Fundamentalist persuasion. And they used their Christian beliefs to show hatred toward many other groups in the most despicable terms. These groups included, but were not limited to blacks, immigrants, Catholics, and Jews. It is easy to corroborate the history and hatred of Southern Christian Fundamentalism toward other groups/peoples. Only the blind/ignorant can miss the fact that the Southern Christian Fundamentalist movement exercised hatred and punishment toward so many other groups. Far from God's heart in their claim of Christianity and their hatred of others.
I consider myself to be a fundamentalist in that I hold the King James Version of the Bible to be the inspired and inerrant word of God, as concerning doctrine.
But I do not have any hatred towards any of the groups you have mentioned.
I do believe that it is the homosexual agenda that promotes the kind of thinking that you have expressed above, @arthurfleminger.
While I also do not have any hatred towards homosexuals (though I believe that they will not inherit the kingdom if they remain unrepentant, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11) but desire to see them saved. I believe that God loves 'em.

You'd have to be both ignorant and blind not to see the hand of 'Christian Fundamentalism' in the South. Segregation now and forever was spearheaded by these Fundamentalists: How White Southern Christians Fought to Preserve Segregation | Religion & Politics (religionandpolitics.org)
The segregation/hatred was everywhere and the Fundamentalists were leading the charge. Even the Christian Churches were segregated, so hateful toward others: Church History: The Racist Heresy in Southern Baptist History - Timothy Paul Jones
And this hatred of segregation extended to all aspects of Southern life. Hatred in the name of Christ. No two ways about it.

Fundamentalists are guilty in the worst of ways for hatred of their black brothers and sisters, God's children.
And the Christian Fundamentalists' hatred was not limited to blacks in the South but extended to many other groups as well. Each group feeling the sting of the Christian Fundamentalist's wrath. Hatred in God's name.
PS My allegations are easy to search if you want to seek the truth. But, I can also understand it if you want to turn your eyes/ears/heart away from the truth.
If you are going to paint every fundamentalist with a broad brush, then you are guilty of the same type of sin that you are accusing them of committing.
Resistance and persecution are not evidence that one's position is correct. Not even a little.
What Jesus is saying is that when believers face persecution from nonbelievers, they should not be surprised. You have claimed that resistance from other Christians on this board is evidence that your position is correct... which of course is just wacky.
Yes, it is evidence of that....while I will not say that it is an airtight case for it.

The only correct righteousness is given to us in scripture, but the world tells us that they know all about what is righteous, they don't need scripture to tell them. This self righteousness is taught to us every hour of the day via the media in TV, newspapers, books, and movies until even the church believes in it.
Any time Satan has fooled the world like fooling Adam and Eve, or when Satan tempted Christ in the wilderness, he has a set pattern. He starts with a truth of God and then twists it. Satan is following this same pattern.. Satan says there is a fight between good and evil as Satan gives us the movie about his idol: The Force. The Lord says it is between Satan and God. Satan says the to not judge others we must accept sin as OK. The Lord says we are to accept others but judge sin. It goes on and on.
