I love the town I live in. It's a tiny town in Texas. I wouldn't leave unless it was to pursue a better job in the city or if I got married and he wanted to take me somewhere else.

There’s no place like home, but if I had to use my imagination, I wouldn’t mind living somewhere where there’s the country side and the ocean nearby 😊

Well my family is here in southwest TN, and my church is here, and the cost of living is low here, and it's really quite comfortable here, so... I'd stay here.

I mean I COULD move somewhere else and still be happy. But I'd only like it there as much as here if I could move my whole family and church family to there.

Yeah, I'm pretty boring. No imagination at all. But I'm happy.

I spent some time in Texas in 1972 for military training in San Antonio and Wichita Falls.

I have never been to TX, though I have a sister there...

I am trying to remember where I was in '89 :unsure:

No place good. But that was an emotional/psychological state...
 
Let's see. I've been a lot of places in the world and still have a hard time answering this question. But some of my criteria would be:

1) English speaking
2) not too crowded
3) lots of nature nearby and accessible
4) Doesn't get too hot or too cold
5) Reasonably safe
6) good logistics so I can get everything I need
7) has forests and beaches and mountains

So I guess the north part of the south island of new Zealand, parts of Oregon \ california, or southern scottish coast (maybe island of Arran) could all fit that bill. But I'm probably staying right here for things like work, family, ease of caring for dog who doesn't like other people or dogs, etc.

If I could transport my present purchasing power (not necessarily my job or income per se), I might consider Ireland. However, there are many places I haven't visited yet.
