I have two or three PhD buddies from High School that are secular leaders in their fields of Theoretical Physics. One of them comes here to KWC for the Perimeter Institute, yearly, and we get together and talk about this stuff.

A lot of the convo goes over my head and I have a BSc in Nutrition, Social Work and Developmental Psychology and a Masters in Clinical Social Work!

Bottom-line: we have no idea how these sub-atomic particles all interact and what ones we still have yet to find! Mystery still exist! We still bow before an Almighty God!

This reminds me of a Star Trek episode where they met an alien who was dressed in a military uniform from the Napoleon era. It was what he saw in the light rays coming from earth. When a ship with warp drive came to his planetary doorstep, it caught him by surprise that we don't dress like that anymore.

You would have to make those observations from at least three different directions. From any one direction there would be much of the time when you would not see the relevant Earth surface in daytime.
Oh yeah absolutely And I’m sure I’m leaving out many details here knowingly or unknowingly but the idea itself should be possible if we figure out all the details. I also know how important details are because I’ve been working in IT and computer science for over 25 years so when something is pushed out to 30,000 computers you have to think of all possible details and circumstances to make sure something is 100% successful.

But I’m thinking of What would God have in store for this scenario?
Would Jesus look at the camera when we observe Him from 2000 light years away to let us know that “I know what you’re doing”? Or would He know and pretend to not let us (the observer) know?
I mean this is also related to the double slit experiment which is the biggest mystery in quantum mechanics. Or how quantum entanglement works.

When I discuss the idea with my other Christian friends of how lucky people were when they lived in the time of Jesus they don‘t seem to like this idea so much. And yes I know that Jesus said “blessed are those who have seen and believe in me but even more blessed are those who haven’t seen me and believe in me”.
But for me this is a sort of a primal need to touch my Creator and kiss His hands and wash His feet. I mean can you imagine being alive when Jesus was here? This to me is so existential that I can’t even describe it.
‘I mean people back then had God among them and didn’t even realize it or appreciate it despite all the miracles.
‘So this need would be satisfied a bit if I’m able to watch Him from afar … 2000 light years away.

I agree with Neil deGrasse Tyson on this one.
America's demonizing of science will eventually lead to our downfall as a world leader, as more countries advance scientifically and leave us behind

Yes as you mentioned this is one of the reasons CERN was built in Europe. We’ve gone too extreme here with our views (liberal or conservative) so someone who’s young can go to work in peace without being disrupted by a Creationist or a Trans-person with their parades and obnoxiousness or even violence.
‘That’s why they built it in Europe.

Or that one dude on here who went on a rant about transgender people that has squat to do with the hadron collider
What kind of weirdo sees a post about a hadron collider it says oh this will be an opportunity for me to talk about my hatred for transgender people

Hydrogen and carbon are extremely prolific in the universe. Titanium isn't.
lol. in an infinite universe, we think our corner of vibrations tells what is and isn't. lol.

It's a reasonable consideration when the topic is technology. All of this is augmentation of your natural self. Transgender "science" is as based in human vanity as CERN, or electricity for that matter.
Where I draw my current line is arguing against God's order. If CERN is being built specifically to unseat God, then arguing about Transgenderism makes perfect sense to me.

The only think we "discover" in "science" is what God allows to be revealed from what He knew at the Creation.
For centuries it was thought the universe always was, when it was 'discovered" that it "discovered" there really was a beginning as scripture said.
There is some discussion among particle scientists that the smallest particle may be sound, that could relate to how He "spoke" the creation into existence.

I'm leaving it at infinte cuttings until someone proves otherwise. Half of half is still there.

It was built to study subatomic particles

Didn't one of the first goals of this facility coincide with "The God Particle"? Was that a misunderstanding, or an attempt to finalize the natural world?
Don't feed the trolls.
I'm gonna reply to you any time I want, John. I see your resemblance to your mother, but I can love you in Jesus anyway.

If he can be this wronged by a hadron collider then........
Somethin' called the Higgs Bison or somthin' close to that.
Yeah it kind of goes over my head but the gist of it is they think this Higgs bowls on is the most basic subatomic particle that gives the universe Mass

I don’t understand what you’re trying to say here. CERN was built to study subatomic particles. It’s basically a giant microscope.

John simply wishes to teach that Jesus's direct teaching against Divorce didn't really happen, or if it did, then it's probably ok with him by now, because why wouldn't God change things for the wealth of the US?

I generally comprehend that, but the question remains fair, I think. The Cover of dozens of magazines trumpeted "The God Particle: The Secret to the Universe Unveiled" for years. That's into religion, imo. And that, right or wrong, is now part of the narrative. You can thank the editors at your favorite Science journal, or newstand rag, whatever.
But it's impossible to separate one's view of corporeal, from one's faith. No matter what the faith or cause of the actors, where the information is available for twisting, you can bet Satan will be there to make sure.

So again, did they build CERN to prove that God wasn't needed, that man could sum the universe by tools? Or no? Or yes but they failed?
It's hardly unfair, the OP speaks of blackholes and a Satanic Cartoon Rick and Morty.

Well they're not trying to "unseat God, as this is an unfalsifiable claim, meaning it's something that can't be proven or disproven.
Science is just trying to figure out how the universe works

Actually what I meant to say is it sounds as if you think God can be unseated by a man-made machine.
If God is omnipotent then no worries right?
