I had just read some article describing someone in modern terms as a G.O.A.T., (greatest of all time,) so I guess the word "goat" was just embedded in my head at the time.

This is the ThinkPad that never ends

I swear those things will never die. Every ThinkPad I ever had is (as far as I know) still living long after technology has moved on past it and you wish it would die so you could justify buying a new, modern laptop.

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad. After the charger port came loose ayear later I took it in for repairs Over $800 they quoted. Or...I can use the other charger port I didnt know it had.🤦‍♀️

A ThinkPad with a loose charger port? I have never heard of such.

I mean I've seen HPs and Acers and Compaqs with loose charger ports, but never in all the ThinkPads I ever saw have I ever seen that.

And that repair price sounds like a scam, just to pop the hood and reattach a port. >.>

I'm glad you're here and enjoying the discussions! Thanks for the mention of including both light and heavy topics. I definitely like to do a little of each, and I always get a kick out of meeting people in person and hearing them say I am the same way in real-life conversations!
