Life that’s the reward he has to give us . In the Parable some are hired early and agree to be payed a certain wage for the days work
as the day progresses others come along some at noon , some a few hours before the end of the day .

it’s Jesus teaching about his kingdom . And explaining that we are one kingdom whoever belongs to Jesus is going to inherit the eternal Kingdom
there’s no more or no less that he offers if we’re the guy in the cross who believes late as he’s dying for his sins or if we’re David who knew and lived the law from birth ( still later breaking the law ) but he was dedicated from birth
David isn’t going to receive more than what was promised to him , just as those who come later and don’t seem to make such an effort thier whole lives everyone is going to receive the same d we shouldnt expect more than he’s got for us because there is nothing we can imagine that’s going to compare
Jesus has the reward with him we should want everyone to receive the wages of the gospel whether they convert early in life and walk a great path , or whether they make a lot of mistakes and poor choices and the. Later in life they find the lord and repent
we should want everyone from least to greatest to receive the gift of salvstion and should t imagine we have a greater reward coming than the least of us

yes I was wondering because I wanted to offer a thought that many of the different parables are about the same subjects sort of repetitive to create a pattern of thought in us
whereas some might think each parable is teaching a completely different thing about a different subject. I’m not sure if that makes sense , but if it does , one could see how this would greatly simplify , the complexity of what Jesus is really teaching us in his words that he sent into the world
what I mean is repetition and diversity of example is the best teacher

Sorry what I’m saying is it’s a repetitive simple message that Gods been saying all along rather than complex message we need to figure out I’m not sure I’m making myself clear but anyways sorry for the length I think it’s a good thought to consider how repetitive the Bible’s message is for us to hear and believe what God said will give us life

Just tell him that the first verse of that parable says it’s talking about the kingdom of heaven, but we’re in the kingdom of earth.

Classic one for me: Matthew 18:20.. people will interpret as Jesus being 'in the midst' of 2 or 3 christians gathered in ANY situation.
So for example.. christians gathered at a concert-- not church.. not people they know.. just a concert.. and will go 'yeeeah! Where two or three are gathered.. there I am with them.. Jesus is with us MAAAN!'
But the context is resolving disputes within a church family.. sinning members. That's the primary application. Jesus is blessing the process of resolving disputes within the church setting, and it is an update of the Deuteronomy process that Israel practiced for resolving disputes.

Reading Isaiah 9:6, it is indicated the Child born to the Virgen is calle the Comforter and Counselor among many other names for God is One.
