Ramon has no pride, he says the truth.. But you both are simply too blinded in your own pride to admit it!
blinded by what exactly Tobby?
why wouldn't i admit it if he had no pride?
if his posts were properly handling Law & Gospel (especially among Christians) i'd be hitting his rep button.

does Ramon tell the truth about himself Tobby? do you?

you actually think you live up to the First Commandment?
I think it is odd that you not only live up to it, but you think it is impossible. Check out what Paul writes in Ephesians

Ephesians 3
14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

If I believe god can keep me from sin, or cause me to love Him above all things He can, and not only can He accomplished these things, but even more than anything I can ask or think, and He does through the power that works in me.

You need a paradigm shift

#1 We learn to love God through the revelation of His love for us.

#2 When we love God our spirit comes alive and frees us from the bondage of sin, so that we need no longer live therein.

#3 Out of the overflow of our love for God we will love others in the way Christ does, we will not help ourselves, but to have compassion on them ministering to their need.

When we understand how much Jesus truly loves us it will move us to action. When we no longer look at ourselves as sinners saved by Grace, but rather as the Bride of Jesus Christ we will change forever we will rise up and walk in all the fullness of God through Christ Jesus.

It will cause us not only to fulfill the 1st commandment, to love God with all our hearts, minds, souls, and strength, but out of the love we have for God it will cause us to fulfill the 2nd commandment to love our neighbor as ourselves.

We will be Re-energized by this revelation we will walk in all the promises given to the Bride of Christ in scripture, fulfilling all righteous, becoming the spotless, equally yoked Bride spoke of in Ephesians 5:25-27.

ok.
at any time in your Christian life have you practised sin?

Considering i have Been A truely born again, spirit filled christian for only a year.

No.

I dont not beleive i was on the path to salvation(saved and beign saved) before August of 2010.

Since beign saved, i have not practised sin. infact i run from it. Do i stumble. yes. I do stumble and it makes me feel rotten and spiritually greasy, and miserable on the inside untill i repent of it. and beg Jesus for forgivenss. then i sit at his feet adn listen to him, and he heals me on the inside. He shows me the hidden deep rooted sin inside me, and will continue to show that to me...the sin nature he is claenign out of me...the hiden stuff ...we need to cosntatnly ask to be freed fro mthat, to be shown that and then repent of it.

So in my the past year, that i have TRULY followed Jesus, Have i PRACTISED sin? No. I have not.

When i stumble i immidiately ask for forgivenss.

honest answer.

i'm leaving this alone for now because it's embarassing. you really think you fulfill that Command. what a downgrade of it.

listen to that sermon and we'll see what idols you have in your heart that keep you from fulfilling that First Commandment.

or not.

i'm done.

please show me the text that says walking in the Spirit 24/7 is the trick.

Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

No trick to it, just got to do it
there are christians in every stage of their sanctification.
some are doing really well, others are practising sin.

which ones are saved?
The ones who do not practice sin

Matthew 7
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

so you weren't saved previously?
or did you just get a shock when after your joyful conversion the sanctification started?

did you think you weren't saved previously because you were still sinning?
is that really how it works?

Romans 6: 22 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life

Whoever sins is a servant of sin, but Jesus came to free us, and if we are truly free indeed then we would live no longer in sin.
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

If this was true and we are dead to self and sin, and it is Christ who live in us then we would indeed live a sin free life.

Nope. IF those LEd by the SPirit of GOD are sons of GOD. Before late august of 2010, i was led by my flesh. adn by my carnal mind. I knew what GOD wanted because, Praise Jesus, I DID have a firm knowedge of the scriptures growign up. But i tried to Fullfill the obedience in and of my self. Falling constantly. Living in Sexual sin, and other sins. Caliming with my mout hthat i was a Christian but JESUS was NOT lord of my life.

It wasnt untill God got me to a state of compelte helplessness, that i cried out to him. And in that moment he filled me with HIS spirit, I told him i was doen wit hmy life. I got rid of all my drug paraphenalia, all my music. Stoped watching TV, and doing AMNY oher thigns Not becaue it was a LAW, but becasue ALL i wanted after he showed me what his spiirt felt like was to be HIS and HIS alone.

THAT is salvation in my opinion. We are SAVED givein the spirit when we value nothing but HIM THAT is when he searches our hearts adn give us the messure of his spirit that matches it.

did you think you weren't saved previously because you were still sinning

Yes. Those that LIVe IN Sin are NOT saved. becasue you are ONLY saved adn beign saved when you are BOrn again.

is that really how it works?

Most definately, The Scriptures have Much evidence to prove it. YOu BELIVE that JESUS is who he said he is ...LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!! adn LORD means you are now GODS SLAVE. we are BOnd servants of the ALmighty. I was never a bond servent of anythig nbefore that, except my self nature, which is actually the nature of Satan.

how are we saved?

Beleiveing That JESUS is who he said he is, and beign born again by his spirit, that IMMIDIATELY puts you in the spirit. But many can walk out from the spirit, ad ngo back to walkign i nthe FLesh. and then fall into sin again.

that's a great answer.
did you know we all do that?

IF you are PRACTISING sin. then no. you arent doign that. If YOU Are actually doign that, then thats wonderfull. KEEP going. and continue onward to the meat of the WORD ad nthe washign of the WORD that leads to MORE rightoeusness adn MORE holyness...beause its not YOU its HIM...we can allow the SPIRIT to make us holy by obeying the words of JESUS OR we can stop it, and go back to our ideas.

and that we are all in different seasons of our sanctification?

Different seasons of sanctification? is that biblical?

if you are practicing sin, you have yet to be sanctified, or...some where along the line you CAME OUT fro mthe provision of the GRACE of God, and started to beleive a LIE...and you followed that LIE, adn made the LIE your lord instead of JESUS who will lead you int oALL truth through his spirit. Paul was furrious that the ones who he though Christ was formed in...turned out that when he left...they went back to what the were doing.

If someone professes with there mouth that they are follwoers of the LORD, but lives in SIN then they are liar, and are calling GOD a liar. Im not sayign stumbling...im talkign about LIVING in sin.

I, Thinking i was saved for 18 plus years(i said 20...but it was more like 18) was mocking God, and actually HATING him, becasue i said i loved him, yet i lived how I wanted to...and if i bothered to "not sin" i did it in my own flesh and not giving it to HIM But he loves me and kept giving me chances to come to him. MANY times. I finally submitted(that is beign saved, submittign YOUR will to HIS and gettign IN him.) And I have never felt so amzing in my life.

I KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that i am his. and that I need to be holy. I want to be. I crave to be, and i have no desire to be anythign BUT. HE said i can be. HE commanded me to be holy like the Father in heaven is. and I can ONLY do that IN HIM abiding IN HIS SPIRIT. Which is done in an obedeint life.

love zone.
Love you too Sister.

A Sinner is one who lives in and practices SIN.

A SAINT is one who Practices Righteousness.

A SAINT is not a sinner. You can call yourself a sinner if youd really like to. The LORD bless you.
Those are your definitions. We were conceived in sin and shapened in iniquity in the womb, before we had even committed one sin. We were born sinners but not practicing sin as you have defined.

A saint is one who has believed and been redeemed and sanctified through the new birth, without any acts of holiness on their part. All believers are saints and are called with a holy calling, but it takes the grace of God to make their calling and election sure. We can only practice God's righteousness by faith and through the grace that is given unto us through the supply of the Holy Spirit.

Calling one who is a saint to be a sinner would never insult them or discredit them in any way, because they know they are not worthy of any of the grace that saved and cleansed them from all sin through the blood of Christ. There is not an apostle that walked with the Lord for three years that would have a problem with identifying with being a sinner and will have no problem throwing their unworthy crowns at the feet of the Lamb, who redeemed them from their sins.

Any time the Holy Spirit reminds me that I am a sinner, I know and I'm reminded of my need for the grace of God. For a saint to be called a sinner means one thing, GRACE!.

Love that! Tozer was great. And its True. MANY christians will go to Church and sing "I surrender ALL" adn yet there life shows that they may have surrendered SOME...but deffinately not ALL. :) :)

Those are your definitions. We were conceived in sin and shapened in iniquity in the womb, before we had even committed one sin. We were born sinners but not practicing sin as you have defined.

Umm...no. Thos who practice sin are not born of GOD(1 john 3;9)

Thos who practice righteousness ARE righteous(1 john 2:29, and 3:7)

If you do what is Evil(works of the flesh) you have NOT seen God(3 John 1:11)

ALL that is ONLY possible in the spirit of GOD. and not in the works of the flesh.

We Were BORN in a SIN nature, the nature of SATAN actually. the WHOLE WORLD is under the judgment of GOD becasue of the NATURE of SATAN. CHRIST SAVES US from the WRATH of GOD, punishment for SIN. IN THE SPIRIT. WE are BOrn Sinners, and a SINNER WILL practice sin. Taht is the only way to realise you need as Savior FROM Sin. Jesus didnt die to save us from HELL...He died to save us From SIN. Yet why do you want to hold on to it?

Amen. But We NEED To be righteous. if we PRactice SIN, yet say we love GOD we are liars. Im not sayign its of our own works, it is out of CHRIST IN US.

Calling one who is a saint to be a sinner would never insult them or discredit them in any way, because they know they are not worthy of any of the grace that saved and cleansed them from all sin through the blood of Christ. NO but see, Im not sayign it would discreddit, or insult anyone. That would be the flesh anyway to be insulted.

IM saying that it is a LIE a BOLD face LIE perpetrated by false teachers who care about money adn heads in the congragation, to say that a Sinenr is A SAINT. They are OPPOSITE. and if you dont see that PLEASE my friend seek Gods counsel on this.

Any time the Holy Spirit reminds me that I am a sinner, I know and I'm reminded of my need for the grace of God. For a saint to be called a sinner means one thing, GRACE!.

The HOly spirit isnt going to remeind you that you are a sinner, He wil CONVICT YOU OF SIN RIGHTEOSUNESS AND JUDGMENT.(john 16:8) And then IF you Sin, you repent(dont do it any more...turn your back on what the holy spirit covicts you of) If There is somthign that wispers to you that your a Sinenr, but its ok becasue God loves you...I can tell you NOW its not the Holyspirit. CONVICTION is not a pat on the back. it is for YOU to repent ad ntrun away fro mwaht you were JUST convicted of

But i guess i needent press any further. None of this has been out of anything other than love. I hope maybe someone would see that.
