Genius chapter 3

part 1

I want to say a word before I begin today. Many people just love labels, you know. Like this is the way so-and-so teaches, and a man teaches this way in order to be... he's probably a so-n-so...you know, this denomination or that... Hey, it doesn't matter what this person or that person teaches, how much of it or how little. What matters is what does the word of God say. And anyone that will bend from teaching God's word exactly as it's written.

[Concerning men that do teach exactly as God’s Word is written] - don't try to label them. I don't care if it is different then locally you might have been taught. Then maybe you'd better dig deeper. But what is important is to document it, know that it is God's Word, and I don't care what man says about it. Stick with God's Word and you'll always be a winner. Labels? I kind of dislike labels. I like to be a child of God that studies God's Word (period). Because there's nothing really important in this world shaping your morals and your success as God's Word will. So always stick with it and don't care a whole lot about what men say, alright.

I hope you realize I'm preparing you for a chapter that goes to some depths and many people shy away from controversy. But anyone that would call God's Word a controversy, or better yet I should say would shy away from it, is just a little bit too out there for God. He's not going to visit them. Always teach it exactly as it is written.

With that in mind we are going to get a good lesson in the Hebrew language today; without it you will never fully understand it completely.

Genesis Chapter 3.

Verse 1: Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

The serpent(The devil, Satan, that old Dragon) Strong's Hebrew 5175:1) serpent, snake1a)

More subtil: Strong's Hebrew 6175:1) subtle, shrewd, crafty, sly, sensible 1a) crafty 1b) shrewd, sensible, prudent

Of the field: the world, Just why do I say field is world That is what God has interpreted it as and when God interprets something for us in the bible we need to pay attention to it. Matthew 13:36Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. 37He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; 38The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; 39The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

And He said unto the woman:

He thanks he has found a weak spot here; but not so quick.

Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? This is Satan's M.O. He uses Gods word; That is what he did when He tempted Jesus in the wilderness but he twists it just a bit to fit his scheme.

Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

Now that's wide open. Well don't forget God gave orders and after God states it, that becomes law. God had told them, "You can eat of except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

And naturally they did not have the opportunity to partake of the tree of life which is to say Christ.

We're going to be talking about trees at quite length today. And God uses symbology often times to teach on a deeper vein than many people are able to receive. So let's hang tough, we will get through it.

That's what Satan asked her, that's not what God said to Eve. Let's see what the woman says.

Verse 2. And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

Verse 3. But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

We are going to take some time here because if we do not build a good foundation; well it will be like building our house on the sand. You will never get the full understanding, and if you don't get a good understanding at the beginning how will you have a chance to understand at the end.

We are going to spend some time on the words tree, touch not so much on eat and lastly lest ye die.

Tree - H6086 êts,ates (the H in front of the number means it is from the Hebrew

From H6095; a tree (from its firmness); hence wood (plural sticks): - + carpenter, gallows, helve, + pine, plank, staff, stalk, stick, stock, timber, tree, wood. So far the Hebrew word looks just like the English word; but it says it comes from the word H6086 so lets look at that word

H6095âtsâh-aw-tsaw

עצה - A primitive root; properly to fasten (or make firm), that is,to close (the eyes): - shut.

Eat - H398 means just that eat

Touch - H5060 נגע-nâga‛- naw-gah'

A primitive root; properly to touch, that is, lay the hand upon (for any purpose; (euphemistically, to lie with a woman); by implication to reach (figuratively to arrive, acquire); violently, to strike (punish, defeat, destroy, etc.): - beat, (X be able to) bring (down), cast, come (nigh), draw near (nigh), get up, happen, join, near, plague, reach (up), smite, strike, touch.

Then what is a euphemism? A euphemism is where someone uses the word touch to be a nicer word than they chose to translate "to lie with a woman". In other words it was nicer it seemed to say "touch" rather than "intercourse". For that's what it means. Now many might say, [gasping] - “Oh dear Lord, did you hear what he said?" I didn't say it. God said it. That's what the word means in the Hebrew tongue. And if you're too good for God's Word then you really a goodie-goodie two shoes aren't you? You need to stick with God's Word so that you understand God's Word.

So what God had said… I think the implication is sufficient enough that it will clear itself up. Now don't get away from me now. This is a little heavy for some; you put it on the shelf. But it is God's Word. And I give you and tell How to acquire the tools. If I say "naga" means a certain thing in the Hebrew, you can check it out yourself in a Strong's Concordance or a good Hebrew dictionary. It's not that big a push for an English reader.

Before you shut me off, yell you are crazy etc. Turn with me to Genius 20.

Abraham, Sarah and Abimelech

1And Abraham journeyed from thence toward the south country, and dwelled between Kadesh and Shur, and sojourned in Gerar. 2And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah. 3But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man's wife. 4But Abimelech had not come near her: and he said, Lord, wilt thou slay also a righteous nation? 5Said he not unto me, She is my sister? and she, even she herself said, He is my brother: in the integrity of my heart and innocency of my hands have I done this. 6And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her. 7Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine.

What do you thank the king was about to do? Take Sarah for w a walk through the royal gardens? NO! He took her to the royal bed chambers.

We are going to stop right here and let all that sink in

Many of us have been around the block a few times, so we think we know what you are driving at. That Eve had sex with Satan and begat Cain.

The Word does say Satan has seed. Only certainly not in the way you mean.

Genesis 3:15

New King James Version

15 And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.”

In order for you to believe Eve "touched" Satan, and begat a child with him, you have to discount a whole lot of explicit Scripture that says different. Here's just a few conclusive texts.

6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.

So not only did Eve have sex with Satan, but Adam did too?

4 Now Adam knew (had sex with) Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain, and said, “I have acquired a man from the Lord.”

End of story

he came right out in 1954 and said he thought Cain was son of Satan.

let's stop here for a second.

is he saying this for segregation or for he thinks Cain is the genetic marker for a different race of people?

i think both. i think he thinks Adam was White. i was raised southern baptist, and not far removed from the white supremacy from 10 years from those days and the influence of roy davis and others. and too young to know enough but still know way more than i should have. no need to get into those details.

but, then i moved to indiana pentecostal and there was obvious branham's influence. branham was baptist before going pentecostal and then him and davis, davis still southern baptist, created this serpent seed.

my grandfather, jew/white moved to elwood, indiana, which was known as a [[Sun Down Town]] [[last i knew still had a statue of Roy Davis in his kkk garb]] and had rather plain vulgar warning to people other than white being caught after dark. my grandfather, was sneaking in preachers like gt haywood, who wrote the old hymnal, "i see a crimson stream of blood, and it flows from Calvary," and many other black and hispanic and whoever whitey's hated.

i remember because my last name was connected to my grandfather and dad many many years later because that hatred in the area still remained. little piss ants is what i call em. but yes, Serpent Seed doctrine was a thing we preached against when i was in my teens. and we were hated for it.

I called my Mother, to make sure what i said was fact. it was gt haywood's daughter's husband and other black/hispanic ministers from the early 1950's to early 60's Assemblies of God church in indianapolis, indiana. less than 40 miles i think and connects to a back road to this very day. they preached for my grandfather because he was ordained by gt haywood in indy. they would sneak 'em in my mom said hahahaha

Sometimes when I run the auto correct option, and when I do make out the red underline, I accept what is replacing my misspelled word automatically, and lo, it turns out to be another wrong spelling but correct in its spelling. I do not realize this unless I "read" it over with text to voice, but usually I do not, mia culpa.

Your point @KeithB ? Are you implying that eating the forbidden fruit and Eve's "desire" towards it (disobeying God and yielding to the voice of another) was the first instance of spiritual adultery in the Bible? You brought up another instance of sexuality in the excerpt I quoted below so I'd assume that's what your getting at (hopefully).

Interesting theory if so... I'm not fully convinced as it is considerably more "cloaked" than spiritual adultery later on but there may be some use in pursuing this.

Some are suggesting that you are implying physical intimacy with the enemy...that point of contention seems easily solved by cross referencing all the references to spiritual adultery in the Bible and all the references to physical adultery and seeing if those words are ever used interchangeably. I have a funny feeling that they are... So it'd be entirely possible to do this with every verse in the Hebrew that mentions these and of course that would be absurd.

Seems much too great of a leap to make so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that this was NOT your intention.

I feel like it'd be fairly constructive to state plainly what you are driving at due to where this has already lead though for sure...

therefore suffered I thee not to touch her. 7Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine.

Let me see if I can make this clear: Point being Genesis 1 on the 6th day God said “Let Us make man (a human males and females) in Our image and after our likeness.” In other words they had a head, 2 arms, 2 lags, Etc. What a lot of you are saying is that this was Adam and Eve that brought the different races into the world. Here is why I say it could not have been Adam and Eve created on the 6th day:

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Milachi 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

There are other verses throughout the bible that say the same thing.

If Adam and Eve where the mother and father of every race; then God has changed things because you look at things today; a man and a woman of the same race that you can trace that line back and see that there has been no interracial mixing, it is impossible for them to have children of a different race. You have the exception in skin color once in a while and albino (a black person with white skin) some different color in the skin pigmentation. A white couple cannot have an Oriental, or any other race child than white and it go both ways right down the line. So either the teaching of Adam and Eve creating all the races is wrong or the bible is wrong and God is not God. The bible clearly states that God is unchanging; AND I BELIEVE THE BIBLE.

I hope this is short enough and to the point that you can understand where I am coming from.

I feel like it'd be fairly constructive to state plainly what you are driving at due to where this has already lead though for sure..
I was trying to point out just what the word meant because it has a totally different meaning in the Hebrew than in todays. English.
#5060 in the Strong's Hebrew dictionary: Naga; a prime root properly to touch, i.e. lay the hand upon a woman (for any purpose euphemism to lie with a woman)
This is what I was making reference to with Abraham and Saria.
Let's jump right to the heart of the matter The Tree of Life = Jesus; The tree of the knowledge of good and evil = Satan. God put it there and told Anam and Eve that they could eat from any tree of the garden except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil as a test to see if they would chouse to follow God and leave the tree alone or to do as they did and disobey God.
Eve put up a bet of a fight, but Satan beguiled her. Then Satan Nagaed her and she Nagaed him.
I can here you yelling "NO WAY"
Let's see what Paul had to say about this very thing.
2nd Corinthians 11:31
Berean Standard Bible
I am afraid, however, that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may be led astray from your simple and pure devotion to Christ.
King James Bible
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
As the serpent beguiled Eve: Let's take a look at this word beguiled: #1818 in the Greek dictionary Strong's Concordance: exapatao; to seduce wholly; beguile
I will choose to go with what Paule (God) says here and what God in Genisus. Yes they seduced each other; That is what the bible says
Lets see if we can find some further proof of this.
2nd Corinthians 11 2For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 3But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
John 8:
The Children of the Devil

42Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 44Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. 46Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? 47He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
Jesus is clearly that they are children of Satan through Cain the first murder.
One more thing: Throughout the bible God goes to great lengths to keep the blood lines in order as to who had who and who is and is not a part of a blood line. So, let's go back to Genises.
1This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; 2Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

3And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth: 4And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters: 5And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
There are several things to look at here. This is God showing us the line of Adam; if Adam and Eve were the parents of all the 6th day creation they should have been listed here as well, but they are not. Why? Adam and Eve were not their parents. God created them in the likeness of God, and all the angles, angelical beings as well as all the souls that would ever pass through this (the second) earth age. No Cain listed; Why? Adam was not his father Satan was. When you look at Cain's line and Seth's line you will notice that the names are very similar that is because Satan is a copycat. He wants to copy God but puts just a little twist on it so it is of kilter just a smig.
I thank I will stop here I hope I have helped clear up some things.

Humanity's ability to adapt to their environment in no way means God changed. Adaptability helps ensure survival.
People spread out post flood (all come through Noah's line, now), especially after they were forced to scatter (Tower
of Babel). There is absolutely nothing in the Bible to suggest that people had genetic limitations like we do today,
in fact, quite the opposite, since siblings and first cousins should no longer marry for obvious reasons.
