Pillsbury Grands has biscuits that boast more flakey layers. Work a few individual buscuits together to make a sandwich size top and bottom layer for the sandwich.

I have never liked croissants, and I had to cheat to make sure that I even spelled it correctly. For me, they are too dry and flakey. Kind of like eating chips of paint.
One must wonder...
how do you know what chips of paint taste like?
Did you grow up in a home with paint jobs done prior to the late 70's?
If so  that could explain A LOT :giggle:

Back then we didn't have TikTok and YouTube and Facebook. Kids had to do whatever they could.

I balanced on top of a 55 gallon drum on its side and rolled it across the yard by standing on one side or the other. I walked on stilts and refused to consider myself to have mastered them until I was able to walk all the way down to Grandma's house next door.

There's no way I have any room to talk about some other kid chewing on paint chips. Kids got bored back then.

Although I have never actually eaten a paint chip (I normally just drink paint straight out of the can), paint chips look like they would be dry and flakey in taste. To my recollection, I have only eaten a croissant once, and that was not really by choice. I had forgotten to buy breakfast foods at the supermarket the day before, and I had to grab a breakfast sandwich from a local WAWA (which is the sound that came out of me after biting into the croissant - WAH  WAH ) on my way to work. Normally, they make their breakfast sandwiches on bagels, but they must have been out of them that day. I am simply not into dry food. Well, sawdust doesn't taste that bad, but I normally only eat that when my Stanley Wet/Dry Vac is on the fritz.

Oh, a Wawa croissant...

No no no no no no no no. Just no. SOOOO much no.

You have not tried a croissant. You have in fact tried a sawdust roll. Wawa is a good place to get fuel for your car, but don't ever get fuel for your body there.

Before you try it, the ones at Walmart "bakery" are not much better.

For me, depending on its shape, a croissant either reminds me of a snail's shell or of a cat turd, and neither is something that I would like to shove down my throat.

Hey, don't totally dismiss WAWA's food. Some of their bowls are good; even if they normally only fill them halfway while overcharging you for them. I get even, though. You know. By taking 1000 packages of crackers.
