no because God has already fulfilled those, but you keep wanting to make them say something they do not.
Romans 11 does NOT talk about a LAND promise but the promise to be grafted back into the Tree of Life....
19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” 20 Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. 22 Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness,[f] if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. 23 And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. 24 For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
the blindness will be lifted from the Jewish people after the end of this church age when the gospel has been preached and the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
matthew 24
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
If the Jews continue in their unbelief they will be burnt with the other branches on the final day of judgement.
I can show you where any passages from the OT has been either fulfilled or will be fulfill through the fulfillment of Revelations. but you probably won't believe me.
tell me what purpose does a future 1000 year reign serve God and advancing HIS Kingdom? Is His Kingdom TODAY or in the Future?
Well Ananda, I could be like you and just look at a passage and assume something.
Or I could actually study to see what is being said. Do you not know we can take OT prophesy and NT fact and put it together? Do you not understand that is what Paul was doing? Why did paul all over romans say Jew and Gentile were one. But in chapter 11 separate them again? I have asked this many many times. maybe you can give an answer?
As for what is said.
God said in Ez 37
11 Then He said to me, “Son of man,
these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, ‘Our bones are dry,
our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!’ 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “
Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. 13 Then you shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves. 14
I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the LORD, have spoken it and performed it,” says the LORD.’ ”
Surely I will
take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; 22 and
I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel;
25
Then they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, where your
fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell there, they, their children, and their children’s children
This can not be the new jerusalem. the fathers never lived in the new jerusalem. This is the earthly land.
Is 49
‘You
are My servant, O Israel,
In whom I will be glorified.’
4 Then I said, ‘I have labored in vain,
I have spent my strength for nothing and in vain;
Yet surely my just reward is with the LORD,
And my work with my God.’ ”
5 “And now the LORD says,
Who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant,
To bring Jacob back to Him,
So that Israel is gathered to Him
(For I shall be glorious in the eyes of the LORD,
And My God shall be My strength),
6 Indeed He says,
‘It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant
To raise up the tribes of Jacob,
And to restore the preserved ones of Israel;
I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles,
That You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.’ ”
7 Thus says the LORD,
The
Redeemer of Israel, their Holy One,
To Him whom man despises,
To Him whom the nation abhors,
To the Servant of rulers:
“Kings shall see and arise,
Princes also shall worship,
Because of the LORD who is faithful,
The Holy One of Israel;
And He has chosen You.”
8 Thus says the LORD: “In an acceptable time I have heard You, and in the day of salvation I have helped You;
I will preserve You and give You As a covenant to the people, To restore the earth,
31 “At the same time,” says the LORD,
“I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be My people.”
2 Thus says the LORD:
“The
people who survived the sword
Found grace in the wilderness
Israel, when I went to give him rest.”
3 The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying:
“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;
Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.
4 Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt,
O virgin of Israel!
You
shall again be adorned with your tambourines,
And shall go forth in the dances of those who rejoice.
5 You s
hall yet plant vines on the mountains of Samaria;
The planters shall plant and eat them as ordinary food.
6 For
there shall be a day
When the watchmen will cry on Mount Ephraim,
‘Arise, and let us go up to Zion,
To the LORD our God.’ ”
7 For thus says the LORD:
“Sing with gladness for Jacob,
And shout among the chief of the nations;
Proclaim, give praise, and say,
‘O LORD, save Your people,
The remnant of Israel!’
8 Behold,
I will bring them from the north country,
And gather them from the ends of the earth,
Among them the blind and the lame,
The woman with child
And
the one who labors with child, together;
A great throng shall return there.
9 They shall come with weeping,
And with supplications I will lead them.
I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters,
In a straight way in which they shall not stumble;
For I am a Father to Israel,
And Ephraim is My firstborn.
0
“Hear the word of the LORD, O nations,
And declare it in the isles afar off, and say,
‘He who scattered Israel will gather him,
And keep him as a shepherd does his flock.’
11 For the
LORD has redeemed Jacob,
I could go on and on. But you see the picture
As for romans 11. Did you even look at the OT passages which were being quoted by Paul??
Is 59: 20 “The Redeemer will come to Zion,
And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob,”
Says the LORD.
Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.
Is 60: 2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the LORD will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
3 The Gentiles shall come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.
10 “The sons of foreigners shall build up your walls,
And their kings shall minister to you;
For in My wrath I struck you,
But in My favor I have had mercy on you.
11 Therefore your gates shall be open continually;
They shall not be shut day or night,
That men may bring to you the wealth of the Gentiles,
And their kings in procession.
12 For the nation and kingdom which will not serve you shall perish,
And those nations shall be utterly ruined.
So tell me. Why would God say he would destroy a gentile nation for not serving Israel?
I think you have seen more than enough ample evidence as to why I can not believe the way you do sis. Paul spoke of the return. He spoke of ALL the ot prophesies concerning Israel being regathered after they repent.
As for the end of the church. It is not at the end when this happens. It is AFTER the time of the gentiles (church) has been completed.
