The Holy Spirit has been employed in the Great Everlasting Transactions to be the One who applies the Blood of Christ to the Redeemed. 1 Pet 1:2

2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

It is God's Elect who will have this blood of Christ applied [sprinkling] by the Spirit.

It is He who regenerates or gives new birth Titus 3:5

5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Isaiah 45:4 For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.
Israel is God's elect, not the body of Christ. We are His body.

He calls us the elect by the Gospel 2 Thess 2:14

Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. See Acts 13:2
My Bible doesn't say that in 2 Thessalonians 2:14, in that the body of Christ is God's "elect." Your quote doesn't say that either. Replacement theology lays claim to adopting all that applied to Israel, but that's a false doctrinal system.

He gives us Faith to Believe after giving us hearing of the Gospel Jn 6:29; Eph 1:19; Eph 1:13

He seals the elect after their believing Eph 1:13;4:30

It was by Him that the elect of God are shown the Things of Christ Jn 16:14

Without the Holy Spirit's Saving work, we would never come to experience subjectively the Salvation Purposed for us by the Father, procured for us by the Son. 1
Yes, followers of hyper-Calvinism do indeed demand much for themselves that is not theirs for the taking, with the false teaching of TULIP, or some variant of combinations of that acronym, thrown into the mix of their beliefs taught to them by others.

Thanks for the clarifications.

Its not forced, yet its caused Ezk 36

27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
Well, as long as it is caused without being forced we agree--unless you still disagree with yourself. :^)

Salvation is totally and absolutely of God alone, and each Being in the Godhead has accomplished their role in the same. To God the Holy Spirit is ascribed certain acts in the accomplishment of redemption, which are to be distinguished from the other Two Beings of the Trinity, The Father and the Son, and so much credit due unto Him in the Praise of the Salvation of God's Elect. To Him [ The Spirit] belongs the task to make effectual the whole of the Fathers Love and the Son's redemptive blood by way of the cross, He makes the redeemed sinner a Partaker of Salvation experimentally, for it is He that effects the conversion of the sinner, by working in him to will and to do of His good pleasure Phil 2:13

13For it is God[The Spirit] which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

See also Ps 25:8;51:13 For He makes application of the redeeming benefits of Christ blood to each soul that Christ has died and redeemed by His blood. 1 Pet 1:2

2Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

The Sanctification of the Spirit is to the sprinkling or the application of the blood of Christ. It is He [The Spirit] that makes us meet as in Col 1:12

12Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

God has the absolute power to save and initiates by offering grace, but humans have MFW and are not robots, so we can choose to reject His love rather than to reflect the HS. Thus, to say salvation does not require human volition/faith is a misnomer, because God is all-loving, and if He were going to determine the outcome, He would save everyone.

God effects both the conversion of the sinner and the good/loving works of saved sinners by working in them to will and to do His good pleasure (PHP 2:13) when they cooperate with His good pleasure, which is for souls to accept and continue to accept His grace by faith because there is no qualitative difference between faith that accepts God’s saving grace at conversion and faith that accepts God’s working grace while walking/living (EPH 2:8-10, 2CR 5:7), but only a quantitative difference as each additional moment passes–and of course faith remains non-meritorious during the saint’s entire lifetime.

(My apologies for the rather long sentence, but sometimes it is necessary to get the truth all in :^)

You began erroneously, no sense in reading the rest of the error. Grace is not offered, its given, and its power, God doesnt offer His Power

Grace means gift, and gifts are offered, and God's gift or what He offers is the power to be saved.
Grace is Gods saving Power, its not offered, its given. Does God tell a spiritually dead sinner, I offer to raise you from the dead Eph 2:5

Eph 2:5

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)

Agreed. He does it through our NON MERITORIOUS Faith in Him.

No one just wakes up some morning, cracks a beer and in the middle of a swig magically gets saved.
False Faith is given with Grace, believing is by Gods Power being exerted. A dead sinner doesnt have any faith or nothing, but be dead.

I have no ideal what you talking about. Maybe you need go back to the op and my subsequent posts, to get an idea what Im talking about.
I am taking what you are talking about......And bringing it to it's logical conclusion.

The BOOM gospel. We get up in the morning. Get ready for another day of our depravity, knowing nothing of the things of God and right in the middle of a sin BOOM.....saved.

Does God tell a sinner "You must be born again?" (JN 3:7)

If so (per your understanding), then every sinner must be saved.

A nice thought on the surface, but I don't think you can defend it with Scripture.

The Holy Spirit should be Praised !

God the Holy Spirit should be Praised because It is by His work, by His quickening Power that He imparts the principals of a New and Spiritual Life to the Soul Titus 3:5

5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

This translates us from death unto life Jn 5:24

24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Col 1:13

13Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

Jesus speaks of that here Jn 3:5

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

So when one is Born of the Spirit he enters into the Kingdom of God.

This also separates us from our Old Man, the Sin Nature that still indwells us, and gives us experiential Union and Fellowship to the Person of Christ who was Our Spiritual head, the Second Adam. 1 Cor 1:9

9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son[In His Kingdom Col 1:13] Jesus Christ our Lord.

Again Jesus pointed to this in His memorable discourse with Nicodemus, when He pointed to the work of the Holy Spirit. Jn 3:3-8. This work of the Spirit prepares and precedes the sinner looking to the work of the Son Jn 3:16. The Holy Spirit Glorifies Christ by showing the redeemed sinner the Cross of Jesus Christ and opening up to them what it accomplished. Jn 16:14

14He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Whats more to Christ Glory than anything else ? His Cross ! Notice what Paul says Gal 6:14

But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

1 Cor 1:17-18

For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

John 17:1

These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:

Jesus speaking of His impending death, as the Traitor Judas has just left to trigger the dastardly deed says Jn 13:30-32

30He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night.

31Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.

32If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him.

And So the Spirit takes what is Christ and opens it up and expounds it unto all for whom Christ died and redeemed by His blood, this occurs within the sphere of His Kingdom. This is a Great Work of the Spirit of God, may He be Praised ! 1 Cor 2:9-10

9But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

10But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 1
