Emental would be Swiss Cheese to an American from the USA.
PS. I love cheeses too...

Dearest Tazzo,
I think you might be past the point of having just a Cheese Tooth.
I'm wondering if maybe you might be part mouse! :D 🐭🧀
Can we really count mould with a bit of dairy mixed in as cheese? .;):giggle:

Does cream cheese count?[/QUOTE]
Well let's see here...

-made from milk
-creamy
-delicious
-aggravates my sinuses and makes me sneeze and sniffle for the next half day

Yeah that fits the description. If mascarpone is in, cream cheese is definitely in.

Various blue cheeses get a lot of hate, but it's nothing compared to mimolette or casu martzu.

Blue cheese is the durian of cheeses. Smells bad, tastes delicious.

Isn't it a cheese that has catched some mould and then become a
the mouldy one, that still has a little bit dairy left in it? :D

Would you eat casu marzu?
Is there even cheese left after the larvae...

This may be true, as what we know as blue cheese did start out as a dairy product, but at some point,
when the percentage of mould is greater than the percentage of cheese, and said cheese does not
act like a dormant food product in your mouth, but actually crawls, is it really fair to the other cheeses
to call such a cheese still? When other foods mould, we call it garbage LOL. May I remind you? ~

Now, I'm not saying you have a Cheese Addiction...

But if a person isn't willing to give up a tiny wedge of cheese for a mousetrap...:ROFL::ROFL:

I guess if I'm ever at your house and hoping for a bite of a cheese, I'd better try really hard not to look like a mouse!

(Although peanut butter isn't such a bad trade-off).

Your post made me laugh out loud, thanks so much for that!:ROFL::ROFL:

Yeah, exactly! That I would not go even near by! Some people might even eat it while those are alive in it :sick:

Blue cheese seems mild compared to that  I don't like to find mould in my house, but some mould in my cheese (or some cheese in mould, according to you:D) is good!

I do share my cheese with my dog, tho.. she has even had a piece of my cheddar once!! Better look like a dog, so you might have a better chance of getting a piece.
and peanut butter is for her also.

I'm obviously going to need a partner in crime for this one, but what do you think looking like Slinky Dog from Toy Story will get me?

(I was hoping for a few good pieces of the "2 types of cheddar" you had on your list.)

Peanut butter?

Better be careful!

One time when Aunt Lucy and cousin Debbie were out shopping, Uncle Fred was left alone at the house with the dog. He wanted a snack so he got some peanut butter and crackers. The dog was of course interested because "a human is eating something! I can probably get a bite!" So the dog got some peanut butter.

The dog sleeps with Debbie. Next morning Debbie was very upset with Uncle Fred. It seems the dog had a case of the farts like you wouldn't believe.

Well, if you willfully give up the weird animal bone you found in the forest, then there are cheddar slices flying to your mouth! :D

(Even tho the snout of your outfit looks a little bit like a beak of a duck with a mole in it, it will do.)

I have some butterkase waiting in the fridge for my breakfast tomorrow.

Aldi is a wonderful place. Gruyere, reggiano, a wedge of Parmesan, mobay, butterkase, port du salut... Some cheeses I wouldn't be able to pronounce if I could remember their names, but they were good...

Wow, that has must have been a great night

Never noticed anything with my dog.. but then again, I don't sleep with her, so I guess I wouldn't know.
